Switch to a Mac! I already bought one for my wife. The more I play with it, the more jealous I am. I just started tinker in Xcode.

More quality.
Get laid, period.

Corolla 1976?
Huh?
Those have all rusted away in the early '80s. If not already in the '79.

For a new car, you go over a pothole in the road, and suddenly you are out of a car. You kick it, and now your car has a dent.
Those rusty old machines were made of solid metal, and a modern car would not survive a collision with the good old Corolla 76.
You do not change oil and the car still runs.
You do not get the engine tuned, and the car still runs.
You do not get any mechanical work done and the car still runs.
Some day when the engine falls out of the car onto the pavement and the car still runs.
Modern cars are a piece of junk metal that go to the junk yard more often than they are built. They are built for obsolescence. Just look at Microsoft. Their operating systems are built to last a year or less.
Besides, Corolla 1976 is a Japanese car, and that is good enough reason that it will work. Too bad though that parts for them are not available much.

Exactly, but maybe back then japanese cars in the US were different from those here in Europe.
In those days, we had here the Mercedes-Benz '/8' (Model W115), wich was from a completly diffrernt realm of quality than any japanese car of that time.
Today, Toyota has a very optimized quality management: Their cars a almost perfect as long as the guarantee runs. They break down immediatly afterwards.
So- for my part, I will take a Mercedes-Benz http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mercedes-Benz_W123[^] over every jap anytime.

I'd love to learn Maya. That looks like a good time if you got good enough at it. Problem is I don't think I'll have the time between all the getting healthy I won't be doing and feeling guilty about.
