dear sir
Actually I have some problem with some TAPI function!! It is (LineGetCountry()) tapi function.
I declared LineGetCountry() function & its struct LINECOUNTRYLIST struct & LINECOUNTRYENTRY struct within a module ………….ok
The problem of mine is how to deal with LINECOUNTRYLIST & LINECOUNTRYENTRY structs within my Visual Basic code in the form to retrieve following:
A specific country code & country name.
Note: LineGetCountry() function is returning 0 so it’s successfully invoked
But *.dwCountryCode still retuning zero
I will be very graceful if you could help me by providing me with some example explain how to get country name &country telephone code, by any chance. (visual basic if possible).
thanks

Let's see your code for defining the structures, the declare for the function, and how your calling ListGetCountry(). The most common problem is that something was declared with the wrong data type, especially if your trying to convert old VB6 code to VB.NET.

I have the following code that fills a DataGrid
<small>
Dim strSQLCustomerTotals As String = "SELECT OrderID, OrderTotal, Ordered_On FROM OrderTotals WHERE CustomerID=" & intCustomerId
Dim strSQLCustomerOrders As String = "SELECT * FROM Orders WHERE CustomerID=" & intCustomerId
Dim dsCustomerTotals As New DataSet
Dim daCustomerTotals As New OleDbDataAdapter(strSQLCustomerTotals, dbConn)
Dim daCustomerOrders As New OleDbDataAdapter(strSQLCustomerOrders, dbConn)
daCustomerTotals.Fill(dsCustomerTotals, "OrderTotals")
daCustomerOrders.Fill(dsCustomerTotals, "Orders")
Dim dataRelations As New DataRelation("Orders", _
dsCustomerTotals.Tables("OrderTotals").Columns("OrderID"), _
dsCustomerTotals.Tables("Orders").Columns("OrderID"))
dsCustomerTotals.Relations.Add(dataRelations)
dgCustomerTotals.DataSource = dsCustomerTotals.Tables("OrderTotals")
</small>
The column Ordered_On in the (ms access) database is a timestamp and has the format dd/MM/yyyy HH:mm:ss.
When the DataGrid is filled it only shows dd/MM/yyyy.
How do I show the full timestamp in dd/MM/yyyy HH:mm:ss format in the DataGrid?

The date/time in any database doesn't have a format. It's stored as a serial number value. Only when the data is displayed in a table view in Access does it get formatted. You have to do the same thing in your code. If you've created your own columns, it's pretty easy, click[^].

Hi all,
which toll/add-in (like VBDOX or doxygen) do you use to comment your source code and generate the documentation for your VB2005 projects?
Thanks in advance,

You might want to take a look at the VSdocman 3.0 addin for Visual Studio. It parses your source code and generates MSDN style documentation, that is completely customisable....
There web address is: www.helixsoft.com[^]

Hello,
How can i compare the pixels in an image to the pixels of an other image? (sample code pls??)
Thanks, Zaegra

Try openning the two files in binary mode (I think) to read them byte by byte and compare. A coworker made image format converters using this method.
What is it that you want to do if the data is/not equal?
|
|
|
|
|
Well, i want if the image is not equal then i want to add it to an imagelist. As soon as it is equal, i want to write a registery setting that sais "True".

Try looking up "filestream walkthrough" in your help menu. (I use VB.Net 2003) It gives an example on how to read files.... Or GOOGLE it. "filestream" is the method you'll need to work with I think.
Hope it helps.... Happy Hunting.....
Now back to my project.....

I have an array called marr() its initialized with no parms
and inside a for loop on vb6 i have t his syntax
count = count + 1
ReDim Preserve marr(0 to count)
marr(count) = var20
my problem is that i dont know how to write a .net 2003 version
of that marr(0 to count) i have tried lookin online but havent
found an answer... i appreciate any help... thanx in advance...

Instead of Redim Preserve you could use Array.Resize(marr, count)

Martin

ReDim Preserve still exists, but you've used the old VB6 syntax. All arrays in the .NET Framework start with index 0, or 0-based, so it's unnecessary to specify it in the new dimension parameter. Just use:
ReDim Preserve marr(count)

If i have the following properties enabled....
Form autosize = True
Form maxsize = True
Form minsize = True
Does this mean that my Form will goto the maxsize of the users screensize and not beyond.?
|
|
|
|
|
No, you have to set the WindowState to Full .
Trinity: Neo... nobody has ever done this before.
Neo: That's why it's going to work.
|
|
|
|
|
WindowState has no Full enumeration member, it's WindowState.Maximized.

Sorry, I'm thinking of the WMP WindowState.
Trinity: Neo... nobody has ever done this before.
Neo: That's why it's going to work.
|
|
|
|
|
The Form.MaximumSize and Form.MinimumSize properties do not accept a Boolean value, so that code has no meaning.
If you want your form to fill the screen all you have to do is set its WindowState property to Maximized :
myForm.WindowState = WindowState.Maximized
