To solve this you need to right click on an aspx page and select browse with. Select IE and set it as the default.

Hi all,
I'm struggling with a very strange issue regarding an if statement. Please take the following into consideration:
Response.Write(Request.QueryString("action"));
Response.Write("If Statement -> "+String(String(dayDate) ==String(String(Request.QueryString("enddate")))));
Response.Write(String(String(dayDate)));
Response.Write(String(Request.QueryString("enddate")));
if (Date(dayDate) == Date(Request.QueryString("enddate")))
{
Response.Write("svdvdvdvdvdv");
Response.End();
....
OUTPUT:
save
if Statement -> false
'2007-03-21' '2007-03-25'
svdvdvdvdvdv
The thing is the if statement is false but it still goes into the if statement .... Why
Can someone plz help ...
Many thanx in advance

if you want to compare two date-values you shouldn't cast them to strings.
use the DateTime.Compare or DateTime.CompareTo methods instead.
i.e
if(dayDate.CompareTo(DateTime.Parse(Request.QueryString("enddate")) == 0)
{
// do something here, if the dates are equal
}
else
{ ... }

by pressing enter normally the default-control's event is fired. i.e if you have a submit-button on your site then probably this one is pressed.

Are you handling any keyevent (enter) for the textbox? If not your default button on the page will get fired.
Thanks
Its not so easy to do... So are you here!

The Adrotator control specifies the interval between each <ad> tag to be displayed you can only change the <impressions> to change the order of the pictures.

Hi there:
I think just do a search from uncle Google...here is just one from CP Windows service

thanks but that does'nt work for me. I want an explicit procedure for calling the windows service from the windows application. I know how to use the windows service. the link you sent me describes how to create and use the windoes services. But i am not looking for that.
I would clearly explain what i am looking for:
A Procedure or a method of how to call the windows Services from the windows application.
thanks

Hi,
Well i'd like the pages in my site to appear differently (such as background color, text size, font etc) based on if the user click on a certain button from the home page. Now the pages are the same as when the user doesn't click on the button (use customized site) and therefore what I'm thinking is to create new style sheets (in addition to the ones that are currently being used by the pages) and then add their references to the aspx pages also (since we could have multiple external style sheets in any particular aspx page). What do you guys think about this approach?? or if there's a better design then this???
Secondly if I go with this approach, how do I make the subsequent pages (after the user has clicked on Customize my site button) use the newly created styles sheets with my new properties?
Any suggestions would be appreciated!
Thanks

This is not the place to post this question. This is an ASP.NET board.

Hi Venkat, I should have mentioned. We are still using 1.1. And as far as I know, there’s nothing of this sort (themes concept) in 1.1 Any ideas????
