Hey Yog,
I think, when you press enter, the browser is using the same pop-up to open again.. Put an alert() message in the click event and check whether it is called or not.

you should add a class to your project then create a method to obtain the ip address.
once you have done that all you need to do is declare and instantiate your class and call the method. this can be done anywhere in your application.
i use the following code to obtain ip address of remote users
Request.UserHostAddress()
this will always obtain ip address of remote users firewall or no firewall i use this for a customer portal site for tracking users.

Hi there:
IMO..you just declare an public abstract class...then put the public info into this class...
Hope you get the clue

Hello,
I have created a web service and will publish to a remote IIS, however the publishing takes over a hour and sometime longer. But this App_Data is 10mb in size. In my code all I have is about 10 methods which most of them return a dataset from a sql server database.
I am wondering, do i need this App_Data? what purpose does it serve? What data does it store?
Many thanks for any advice,
Steve

I could not see App_Data in my application... Have you added this to use in your application.
Well, what happens if you remove this?

How do you delay the movie play until it is fully loaded (downloaded) from the server? My movie's start playing immediately and are jerky as crazy. Then if I wait a minute or two they play smoothly as they have finished streaming down.
Here's the code I'm using:
//MediaElement is just an ASP:Literal.
_mpg = Request.QueryString["MPG"].ToString().Trim();
tmpHTML += "<object id=\"MediaPlayer\" height=\"240\" width=\"320\" classid=\"CLSID:22D6f312-B0F6-11D0-94AB-0080C74C7E95\" standby=\"Loading Windows Media Player components...\" type=\"application/x-oleobject\" codebase=\"http://activex.microsoft.com/activex/controls/mplayer/en/nsmp2inf.cab#Version=6,4,7,1112\">" + "\r\n";
tmpHTML += "<param name=\"filename\" value=\"" + _mpg + "\">" + "\r\n";
tmpHTML += "<param name=\"Showcontrols\" value=\"True\">" + "\r\n";
tmpHTML += "<param name=\"autoStart\" value=\"False\">" + "\r\n";
tmpHTML += "<embed type=\"application/x-mplayer2\" src=\"" + _mpg + "\" name=\"MediaPlayer\"></embed>" + "\r\n";
tmpHTML += "</object>" + "\r\n";
MediaElement.Text = tmpHTML;

Rex,
You may try hooking the client side event ReadyStateChange of the player, and check the ReadyState parameter of the handler or this property of the player.

Hi.
I use visual studio 2003 and framework 1.1
My question is :
How can I insert my swf file into asp.net ?
I have created a swf for the header of my site and I want to use it in my site but I dont know where should I insert this SWF to ASP.net
please help me if you know.
thank you very much.

You just add the HTML code for the object in the page. It's all done in the browser, so it has actually nothing at all to do with ASP.NET.

You have to do with your HTML Code. Use <OBJECT> tag to include SWF file into the page.

Venkatesh sir,
Can I have a .Net made control(like UI) to display and edit the word and excel files. Its functionalities must be similar to DSO Framer control, but it should be prepared by using .Net framework or a .Net control. Please tell me if you have any Idea. Please.

Sorry Aleem,
I don't know about DSO Framer Controls... Don't post the same question everywhere man... Its a suggestion, because CodeProject is a forum not Chat Screen. Sorry if my words hurts you...

You have been asked before to stop doing this. Do not post this question all over the place. You are going to start annoying a lot of people if you keep doing this, and you will be treated as a troll (and you don't want that).

hi..
I'm working on a project where i'm intercepting the response coming from a web service through a SoapOutputFilter on the server side, and i'm encrypting certain information. but now i'm trying to do the same thing to intercept the request going out of a client, it doesn't seem to work so do you know how i can do that?
|
|
|
|
|
How far did you go? Have you tried using the PipeLine.OutputFilters property to add your custom output filter? Since you are using the old version of WSE (with SoapOutputFilter method), IMO you may consider using the WCF or WSE 3.0 instead.

Hi !
I wonder what's the best way to save information like a list of objects.
On one page I should sale products.This mean:
#Sale product
#Add product info to a check (this check is actually the list of objects).
I want to display this list of obejcts in my page.
Is the session the best solution?

Hi all
In visual studio 6 there was a way to step over the exception handling when we r in the release mode and to step into them when it's a debug mode
that was done using macros
How can i implement that in .net 2003?
Best Regards

Are you talking about preprocessor directives? I've never actually used them, but I think they do what you're talking about. There are several pages out there on how to use them. Here's the first one that I googled.
