OK, well, that;s a totaly different sort of table, obviously.
Generally speaking, apps that create data tables on the fly are showing signs of poor design. Why is your design so open ended that you want to create arbitrary tables, and how will you access their information once they exist ?
The core answer is, you can run the SQL to create a table if you want to.

hi,
i want to display an image in a gridview which is on another page.
part of my code is:
foreach(DataRow row in ds.Tables[0].Rows)
{
row.ItemArray[2] = //"~/Default2.aspx?id=1"; -> this is my url
}
this row.ItemArray[2] is ImageField
Of course this doesn't work.
i saw an example in visual basic:
For Each tempRow As DataRow In ds.Tables(0).Rows
tempRow.Item("imgFile") = ("imgGrab.aspx?id=" & tempRow.Item("imgID"))
Next
please, if anyone has an idea.

Dear Sir,
I have a web application using DSO Framer control, but when my client wants to view the page. He has to make his security settings low.
By using the fusion technology we can make the aciveX control as Windows control and display it by using <object> tag in the Webbrowser, then it will act as a normal .net web control
For this I have to take the class id of DSO Framer control and I have
Please help me if possible. Thank you.

I doubt very much that there is any way you can take a control that accesses the file system, and put it into a web page without that page having it's security settings virtually off.
What is 'fusion technology' ?

This is too much christian instead of encouraging, you are continuously discouragin some one. And one thing I would like to say, no one is 100% in this world. Fusion technology is changing an activeX control as it is in managed code. Yeah I got one example too. If you have any suggestions give me positive suggestions please. Thank you.

OK. I wasn't meaning to discourage, I stated a fact - any control you run, .NET or otherwise, will require the same permissions if it does the same things. I still think you're chasing a smokescreen.
I didn't mean to discourage, I've never heard of 'fusion technology' and google didn't help much ( fusion is too common a word ). Do you have a link ?

Yeah I have a link, and could you please tell me what does it mean, in this link. Christian no one learns every thing by birth, we have to learn the things from this society only. Please refer this link :
"http://msdn.microsoft.com/msdnmag/issues/02/01/UserCtrl/", and tell me what does it mean. I feel it may meet my requirement.
And remember you are not the decider for what you are going to get, there some one sitting on top, He will decide every thing. What we need to do is put all our efforts to get it. If you still dont, means, its good for you. Am I right?. Ok. Any way, if you get any Idea regarding this, send me a mail. Your mails are always welcome in to my mail box. Thank you.

I have no idea what this means ? Is it a reference to God ? Bill Gates ? Your boss ? I honestly don't know.

True. Believe it or not, I'm still here because I'd like to help you.
Yes, it looks as if you can do it as a .NET control, but note the big section on security settings, you will still have issues with security setup.

That may be true, that has nothing to do with me, as I told you before.
And I know the rule, I assumed you may not, because you're Indian, and your English is (I am afraid) not that great.

I am getting 2-Errors in creating as here "Could not find 'D:\Aleem\DSOControl1\obj\Debug\DSOControl1.dll' and Erro creating assembly manifest: Error reading key file DSO.snk - the system cannot find the file specified.
As I didnt use assemblies till now, I dont know about it. I will put the step by step process how I did I try it.
1. Created a Windows control library, and put all the required controls and functionalities in it.
2. Build it, and successfull.
3. Then at vs.net command prompt put "sn -k DSO.snk". It is also successful.
4. Then <assembly: assemblykeyfile("dso.snk")=""> put this in the assemblyinfo.vb file in the Control application(like DSOControl1).
5. Then again I tried to build the application its giving errors as I mentioned above. Please tell me which step I miss and I did mistake. Thank you.

In C# and ASP.Net how to retrive the file path from remote machine and check whether file exists or not.

If the remote machine is connected to your network, with a network path. If it's someone using your web app, you don't have permission ( unless you're running .NET code on the client, then I would think that a local path will default to be local to the client ).

In C# and ASP.Net how to retrive the file path from remote machine and check whether file exists or not.
|
|
|
|

System.IO.File.Exists(Server.MapPath(url));
where 'url' is the virtual path.
|
|

its not working because server.mappath takes only virtual path but which i want to check is physical path in remote machine.
The scenario is------In remote machine all files are in sharing
|
|
|
|
|
what you mean by phisical path? all you have in your application has a virtual path!

i mean its not a www root path
for ex:\\servername\folder\filename

Then System.IO.File.Exists(@"\\servername\folder\filename")

Hello
How to continue this VB.NET 2003 std / ASP.NET made www-page project? I have made ASP.NET web application that runs when I select "start without debugging". What are the steps to get these www-pages running on server. I have bought a web hotel service and now I would like to put these pages running on their server. What to do next?
|
|
|
|
|
You make a build in release mode, then copy the files and folders from your web folder to the hotel. The files needed are the bin folder, the aspx files and any other files that they use (images, css, web.config, global.asax, et.c.). The .vb files is not needed on the server.
