You sure did. As you posted in a programming forum, mentioning everything you used in the programming, the obvious way to view your design is to examine the programming.
Ok, on to the aesthetic side...
Overall nice design. You might consider a design that appeals more to "the average Joe", though, now it looks like the target group is people who already have a lot of money. Also, it looks like the site is more for the bank to brag about itself than for the visitor.
Take a look at the spacing between elements and padding in the elements. If you put elements that close, you need more padding inside the elements.
The "Building faith.......................................since 1850" text should perhaps be in a less modern font if you want to emphasise the age.
The image where you decapitated the banker really looks like you... well... decapitated the banker. Crop the image another 20 pixels or so from the top so that you don't get the same "missing" feeling about the head.

You need to write an activeX control or similar to do this

Thanks.
I don't want to spand too much time on this so i think I'll use another solution.
I let the user choose a file inside that directory and then I'll get the directory with jaca script.
Thanks for the replay.

Hey All,
Have had a search around for others having this problem and haven't been able to find a fix or workaround.
I have a site using masterpages - and i am putting a link to logout in the master page, using a handler in the code behind.
So in the masterpage would be:
<form runat="server">
<!-- html stuff -->
<asp:LinkButton runat="server" Text="Logout" OnClick="Logout_Click"/>
<!-- other html stuff -->
</form>
then code behind:
protected void Logout_Click(object sender, EventArgs e){
DoSomething();
}
(I have also tested using an ID for Logout link button and attaching to the click event OnInit but that doesn't seem to make much difference either)
So i would expect this to work as usual, which it does in IE - but firefox doesn't like it and won't postback when the button is clicked. And of course it has to be firefox compatible.
I have also tried moving the link into a seperate control so that the handler is not in the masterpage code behind and loading just the control into the masterpage and this doesn't work either.
It seems like buttons won't fire events unless they are in the content place holders - not directly in the masterpage.
Has anyone seen this problem - and is there a workaround to get the postback to fire in firefox?
Thanks in advance for any help.

Ok, have worked out what is causing the problem..
The element had an id on it "Form1", i removed the id and it is now working.
Haven't run into this one before, but usually working with IE - which doesn't have a problem with it.

Hi, there
I have some web applications created using VS 2003 (C#) was working locally on my PC on .Net 1.1. After I installed .Net 2.0, they stop working. Actually I can not create any web application using VS 2003 anymore. I went and switch IIS default web site to ASP.NET 1.1 from 2.0 and it still not working. Anyone can help me with this?
Thanks

What do you mean by "stop working"? What happens? Do you get an error message?
In the properties for the web application there is a new tab after you have installed framework 2, for selecting what version of the framework the application is using.

I first try to load my web application from VS 2003 after I install Net 2.0. It hangs. I try to create a new web application project and it hangs. I go to IIS and locate the application, in property - ASP.NET version it says 1.1.4322. I am not seeing the new tab you mention. And how can I direct my VS 2003 still using 1.1? And can I use in the same PC vs 2003 - .Net 1.1 and vs 2005 .Net?
Thanks,

It sound as your installation has become broken. There is normally no problem running VS 2003 and VS 2005 on the same computer. I do it myself.
Each version of VS is targeted at a specific framework. VS 2003 can only create framework 1.1 applications and VS 2005 can only create framework 2.0 applications.

I guess after I install .Net 2.0, the IIS(5.1) got confused? If I type URL http://localhost/myasp.aspx that used to be working under the default web site not working anymore. the web application that I build using vs 2005 automatically assign a port# and having no problem. Any thoughts?
thanks,

What exactly do you mean by "not working"? What error message do you get?
You can try to reregister ASP.NET in IIS using aspnet_regiis.exe -i

That is using the built in web server in Visual Studio, not IIS.

Hey Folks,
I'm trying to get a name and description to store with a stream I'm writing to a database. I thought It would be easy to query the user with a dialog box to get the name and description just before I save all of it to the database. Unfortunately I can't fiqure out how to do that.
Thanks a bunch

You use the window.prompt function in Javascript.

If you want to interact with the user you have to go back to the browser.
