this value "a" is string type?

Also, pay attentionto the number format used by the local machine. You may get errors if the decimal separator used by the local machine is "," and the user inputs "." as a separator or viceversa. You can see it under Local Settings in Control Panel.

|
|

|
for that you could use the overload to try parse that takes an IFormatter input aswell.

I have a form with many buttons
I try to serialize this buttons, and I make a List to serialize, but it doesn't work
Have anyone any other solution for that

It may be worth posting up the class you are trying to serialize so we can see what is going wrong.
I take it you have the list as a public property and are using the [Serializable] tag (just before the class declaration)

a solution:
int year = DateTime.Now.Year;
DateTime dt = DateTime.Parse(year.ToString() + GivenMonth);
dt.Day = DateTime.DaysInMonth(year, GivenMonth);
|
|
|
|
|
I doubt this code will work. In line 2 you're using GivenMonth as a string and then in line 3 as a int .

Hi! Alexandru
how to insert undeletable image in word document? Is it really possible! If so it will help me greate.
My requirement is Inserting an e.g. xyz.gif image into the word document. That document we download from the web server.
my code behind file in C#.NET 2.0 is:
object missing1 = System.Reflection.Missing.Value;
string strActualTemplatePath = Server.MapPath("~/TemplateToDownload//");
strActualTemplatePath += Session["TemplateActualName"].ToString(); /* file name which exist on server */
object objFilePath = strActualTemplatePath; /* path of letter where to embed an RefNo_Image. */
object readOnly = false;
object isVisible = false;
ApplicationClass objWord1 = new ApplicationClass ();
Document objWordDoc1 = objWord1.Documents.OpenOld(ref objFilePath, ref missing1, ref readOnly, ref missing1, ref missing1, ref missing1, ref missing1, ref missing1, ref missing1, ref missing1);
objWordDoc1.Activate();
objWordDoc1.Tables.Add(objWord1.Selection.Range, 1, 1, ref missing1, ref missing1);
string MyImage = Server.MapPath("~/RefNoImages//" + Session["RefNo"].ToString() + ".gif");
if (File.Exists(MyImage))
objWordDoc1.Tables.Item(1).Cell(1, 1).Range.InlineShapes.AddPicture(MyImage, ref missing1, ref missing1, ref missing1);
object oSaveChanges = true;
objWordDoc1.Close(ref oSaveChanges, ref missing1, ref missing1);
objWord1.Application.Quit(ref oSaveChanges, ref missing1, ref missing1);
NOTE: The above code is working file on the local machine. But after publishing the website is is not working.
Hope you will reply

I have one structure in my c# project's namespace as:
public struct SQLServerInfo_t{
public int size;
public string[] lstSQLServerName;
public string[] lstVersion;
};
I have registered the project (output dll) containing this structure with COM.
Now, I want to use this structure in my C++ code.
As I can see in .tlh file declaration is
struct __declspec(uuid("f1dfdf39-7b27-3e6e-879d-447e06fd94c2"))
SQLServerInfo_t{
long size;
SAFEARRAY * lstSQLServerName;
SAFEARRAY * lstVersion;
};
How can marshal my structure members (like lstSQLServerName in above structure) in C# code so that I can use the structure as comfortably as possible in my c++ code?
I'm working on .net framework V 2.0.50XXX.
Thanks a lot for any kind of help in advance.

Im trying to interface the joystick with my flight simulator but all the examples i have looked at use the system timer and in my project i cannot use the system timer since it clashes with the direct X rendering. How would i solve this issue?

Are you using DirectInput for the joystick ?

How can i predict whether a file is being used by any process. I wanted to wait till the deletion of file gets over.

You could use a FileSystemWatcher and specifically the Deleted event.

Friends,
Does anybody know how to get the list of all previously logged users on a windows machine? One simple way is to go to documents and settings and get the folder names. But can we have some other alternative like using registry or WMI?
