Heres a function I use:
function ValidateMultiEmail(value) {
var emails = value.split(',');
var re = new RegExp("\\w+([-+.']\\w+)*@\\w+([-.]\\w+)*\\.\\w+([-.]\\w+)*");
var valid = true;
for (var i = 0; i < emails.length; i++)
{
if (emails[i].trim() != '' && !re.test(emails[i]))
{
valid = false;
break;
}
}
return valid;
}
The regular expression isn't full-proof - you will get some false positives but only in the most unlikely cases.

I have developed my ASP.net pages using the File System. I want to move them to Internet Information Server.
I am using VB.Net 2005 running on windows-xp and sql server 2005.
I tried to create a Virtual Directory from IIS to point to the folder where i have my asp.net pages but the pages did not run below is the error message

It looks like your web.config isn't set up properly (can't see the actually lines you pasted in). Is your web site set up to run under .net framework 2.0 rather than 1.1?

I think, your IIS is configured to .NET 1.1 version. Check the Virtual Dir property in IIS.
.NET 1.1 does not have connectionStrings section. So check the IIS setting of that Virtual Dir

hi
whether it is .net 1.1 or 2.0 ..
there is not a tag defined by the name 'connectionStrings' in web.config's <configuration> Section..
so check out...

Hi
I have done sub folders in my Web Application, due to it I am getting compile time error as follows -
"It is an error to use a section registered as allowDefinition='MachineToApplication' beyond application level. This error can be caused by a virtual directory not being configured as an application in IIS"
I've also created virtual directory for this sub folder, but still problem is there. What to do in this case ?

hi all
i m trying to upload large amount of data to oracle database..
through excel file... in .net..
is there any standard way to do that?
cause it is taking too much time to upload data in oracle.
Why are you using .NET in between this? You can directly import the excel in oracle itself which would be fast.
can u pls give me detailed information on this?
and during uploading i am validating the input data whether record already exists...etc.
is it possible to validate data.... in the other direct way ...as u mentioned above..
I don't know much about ORACLE. But I know you can Import Excel into the ORACLE DB. Why can't you google about Importing Excel file in ORACLE?

anyways...thanx for the help..

I too have some doubts regarding this conversion.. Say the PlaceHolder has a GridView with data or some Table....

If you dont want to use third party controls, then use crystal report and export into PDF internally.

Crystal Reports??? Even though it come with .NET Package, its a third party tool only. When we are about to deploy it in a server we need to install Crystal Report into the Server to make it run...
No man, While setting up the deployment we need to add some merged modules of crystal report. Thats it.

Here we go...
Assume, I am working in an Application, which generates reports in HTML. I can't change the Report Tool immediately, since every report has it own business logic inside and everything is very complicated.
Do you have any solution, for converting these HTMLs into PDF using available .NET Classes? I am not ready to change the everything, since its a 3 years' work.
