hi all,
i have a little problem that is driving me insain!
i've made a program to connect to an divec or pc u name it, but sometimes i cant get a connection although i can ping to it? i dont know mutch about networks so i dont see the problem, i am sure that my "make connection" code is wright because i am able to make connection at times
i should say that i am using wireless connection, so the device i am calling comes and goes
its seems that sometimes the application runs without any problems.
the device comes in reach i can ping and i get a connection and than the device leaves again and comes back ping and connect, no problem at all.
BUT other times it comes in i get ping, connection, it leaves, comes back, ping but no connection ever again, i have to restart the device before i get can make a connection
does anybody hase any expericence on this subject
any help or tips are welcom

I am getting an Error while Exporting from crystal report to PDF.
cannot convert type 'CrystalDecisions.Shared.ExportFormatType' to 'System.IO.MemoryStream'
Can any one help me pls. thanks in advance.

Hi
I think you need to type cast to Memory Stream from ReportDocument. See the sample code below for exporting from Crystal Report to PDF.
MemoryStream oStream;
rptDocument.SetDatabaseLogon(StrUID, StrPwd, StrServer, StrDatabase);
oStream = (MemoryStream)rptDocument.ExportToStream(CrystalDecisions.Shared.ExportFormatType.PortableDocFormat);
Response.Clear();
Response.Buffer = true;
Response.ContentType = "application/pdf";
Response.BinaryWrite(oStream.ToArray());
Response.End();
I used Crystal Report 10 in VS2005.

How to copy objects in c#. If we use clone method Pasted objects reflect the changes done in copied objects.

it is actually cloning of controls.If i create new object and assign the properties of the copied control to the new object, then after pasting the Changes made in the copied control dialog is reflecting the change in also the pasted control dialog object.
in the above said way i assign the dialog object also directly.
If i use the this.memberwiseClone()to create new object the object is reflecting the dialog values.

The control object to be copied has some other objects also.

Anyone can help to solve the problem of:
In the web form, there are two datagrids that located at the top and bottom. After databinding,
the top datagrid may give no room for the bottom one because of too many data.
Any dynamic solution to move the bottom datagrid according to the top grid after-databinding-height.

Hi I am developing a windows application in which it contains a grid and two buttons called play and delete.
If user selects a row on the grid and clicks play button then all the images are shown in a slideshow. (for showing slide show iam using a a new form which it contains a picturebox.)
if user selects a row on grid and clicks delete then it deletes the folder of images.
THe problem is when i select a row and clicks the play button it is showing the slide show. After exiting if i select the same row and clicks delete button then it is saying the picture X is used by another process.
How can I overcome this problem. Please Help me.

if images are being shown in the Grid. it means they are being used by another process.
firstly Remove that Row then those images

Here the images are not displayed in the grid. Grid contains the path for the images folder.

is your slideshow form opens as dialog.
if yes then disopose object of that slideshowForm
for extra caution use GC.Collect();

As far as I know, only Rectange(F) class has "Contains" method to indicate that a point is inside it or not.
Now I want to find the point inside an ellipse and other shape, is C# support it or we have to implement some argorithym to find out.
