Well, you got my 5!
Why is common sense not common?
Never argue with an idiot. They will drag you down to their level where they are an expert.

Hi
i want to know how to fix a cursor to a particular dialog using clip cursor.
|
|
|
|
|
Use the GetWindowRect[^] API function to get the bounding rectangle of the window in screen coordinates, then use the ClipCursor[^] API function on this rectangle to lock the cursor.
An example of this procedure can be found here: MSDN: Using Cursors[^] (see section "Confining a Cursor").

We've here the unlucky situation that the recorded message includes the last DTMF-tone that was used to stop recording (voice-mail system).
Since we cannot prevent this DMTF-tone being written, the only solution is to strip the last 200-500ms from the recorded WAV-file afterwards. This action can be done when the WAV-file has been closed.
My question now is:
Has anybody an idea and/or reference how to strip 200-500ms from a WAV-file? Example code? I've load programming expeerience (kernel development), but fideling in WAV-files is completely new to me.
All WAV-file parameters are already known and fixed.
Thanks a lot!

The files are written in chunks of data following the WAV file specification. There is an api with several functions beginning with 'mmio' you can use to more easily manipulate the files.
So, then, use the api and re-write the file leaving off the last 200-500 ms, or else truncate the parts of the data and re-write the header portions appropriately controlling the last chunk(s) in the file.
If you know the data size, sampling rate, etc. it should be easy to calculate how many trailing samples to discard to drop off 200-500 ms.

In my project,there are a lot of global members.
To my surprise that I found two of the global member has the overlapped memory address.
For example:
member a begin at address 0x00457280 and the size of a is 14D(hex)
member b begin at address 0x00457380 and the size of b is 848(hex)
obviously the two member overlapped!
But why?I have no idea on finding out a solution!

Can you tell more about that variables, how are declared and so on...?

Unless your code accepted the connection, received the "virus" bytes, knew that it was executable
code of some kind, and executed the code, then it didn't come through your socket.

I used to handle the OnPaint message:
void CDlgPPAGMain::OnPaint() <br />
{<br />
CPaintDC dc(this);
CRect r, r2;<br />
<br />
if( GetSafeHwnd() != 0 && m_clctrlParamsRobotSel.GetSafeHwnd() != 0)<br />
{<br />
GetClientRect(&r);<br />
m_clctrlParamsRobotSel.GetWindowRect(&r2);<br />
ScreenToClient(&r2);<br />
<br />
r.bottom = r2.top;<br />
<br />
dc.FillSolidRect(r,0x000000);<br />
}<br />
}
Sure that this is not the best method, but it works.
|
|
|
|
|
what is m_clctrlParamsRobotSel?
|
|
|

Don't worry on that, this is a piece of code that I've used and I've not removed anything, this is a variable that refers to a listcontrol that has the same width of the entire dialog, in your case you should get the size of the dialog client are and then paint it.
|
|
|
|
|
void CDlgPPAGMain::OnPaint() <br />
{<br />
CPaintDC dc(this);
CRect r;<br />
<br />
if(GetSafeHwnd() != 0)<br />
{<br />
GetClientRect(&r);<br />
dc.FillSolidRect(r,0x000000);<br />
}<br />
}
this should be ok for you...
