In the field explorer you can see formula fields
there you can create new formulas

Simply create ibjects of Button and Label class give id and
Add placeholder here you want to add button or label

 <br />
Button btn = new Button();<br />
 btn.ID = "SubmitBtn";<br />
 PlaceHolder1.Controls.Add(btn);<br />

I created 2 projects one for report and another for website. i deployed report and when i call from website it says

Unable to connect to the remote server
The requested address is not valid in its context

Hi Frnds,
I have used SmtpMail.SmtpServer="some server name"; to send mail.. But i am not able to send mail to the destination mail id. I didnt use any database in my project... is it necessary to upload web config file into the server..if it so send me the connection string ,,, i am facing the error as
"Could not access CDO message" pls explain

Looks like your server doesn't allow this type of sending. read this article

Hi,
Do you have CDO installed on the machine from where you are trying to send mail ? If not sure about it, please search google for installing the CDO and then try sending mails.

Are you using .NET 1.1 or 2.0? If you are using 2.0 you can use System.Net.Mail[^] which eliminates the use of the CDO object instead of System.Web.Mail[^].

i am using .net1.1... i am doing small project.. all the pages are in html.. only the feedback page is asp.net page.. in that page iam using mail concept. In these i am having following dout..
1.Since i am not using database is it necessary to upload web config file to the server...
2. since ia m redirecting from html page to .net page i am not able to upload it.. let me know the reason..
Wt are the files i ahave to upload it..

Web.config is not related to database. For executing ASP.NET pages successfully you need to upload web.config also. And for sending mail gothrough the article what I posted on first message

there are Microsoft Access jet provider and SQLOLEDB(?) provider when there have connection string..and each of these two have a different have a different header file and and command and keyword

how about SQLEXPRESS??what will be the appropriate header file and keywords?would it be the same as SQLOLEDB provider??

What do you mean exactly ?

Redirecting is redirecting from one page to another page. Postback means one form is posting to the same form itself. Both have different meanings ? What do u want to do actually ?

Yes u r correct.

Actually i want to make "file chooser" to select multiple files at a time in asp.net. But we can choose only one file at a time by using tag.

I ave done this and its working fine in my local machine but not in hosting server.
