I thought it was some technical term ? Was it a joke ? I only wanted to know (if it is a technical term) the meaning of it.

We had a clustering issue in the webfarm where a misconfigured server grabbed all incoming connections and essentially choked itself to incapacitation on 15,000 concurrent sessions. Took us about an hour to nail down the problem then 20 minutes of careful rebooting to get everything in order again.
You are just seeing what the ASP engine does when it can't eat any more.

Hi
When hitting the postmessage button on firefox, form is not posting at the first time. It will wait till we hit next click., Then it will show error message like message already posted.
|
|
|
|

That is because the message was already posted.

Consider what happens if someone is just checking the messages from a particular message board, but is not signed in yet. To post a reply to a message, one needs to be signed in. Now that person wants to reply to a post, and for that enters the credentials in the appropriate boxes provided. This should, ideally, (i think) should not redirect to the home page after a successfull logon. It should remain on the same page from which the credentials were entered. What happenes is that when a reply is being made to a "Remote" post, the message is lost after signing in and takes a lot of effor to remember the correct forum and the message ofcourse.
I know that this is possible and there must be a reason that this is not implemented, but i would like to know why it is not included ? You can try for yourself (replying a remote post as i described)

I second this. Its some time very annoying to start again from home page.

It sucks you know, but the work around is that you press back couple of times to come to thepage where you want to post the reply and press F5, You will be on that page as loged in.

Apart from the weekly one, what about a small survey in top of the lounge, that everyone posting in the lounge will see, for just simple questions, and it may be made of questions suggested by users, and every one wants to suggest a question its put in a queue to wait its turn.
