At the top left of each article on the side bar is the 'Toolbox'. Take a look there.

Oops! Sorry I missed it... I wish I could say it's because I'm so into reading the articles that I couldn't see the link. But I think it is because after 14 years of writing code with Microsoft tools my brain is starting to slip...
Thanks again...

Great. Another thing to look forward to in a few years...

You can change the extention so it reads ASP even though it is PHP which is kind of cool. - Martin Marvinski --Shog9 --

No did not... I was on a computer in school and didn't want to check the "Remember me" or something.... but I saw that Nish told me what could be wrong.

I've seen this happen too. I just thought the IE6 was trashing the cookie or that my high security settings was confusing it.

You gotta check the remember password check box. Else this happens often! It's been a well known bug of long standing! At least for me. I've experienced this when I browse from net cafes where I don't check the save-password box and then every 5 minutes I have to re-login.

Would it be possible to update the page displayed to show the articals ratings/#votes and #views so that you can get a general overview of how they are doing. This could also be done for when viewing the articals of a given user.

Its the cheapest, easiest (Chris is so easy to sway ), quickest, and doesn't involve my cheque book (especially as I am broke at the moment - soory Chris, no money from me!).

So it's late and I need some creative thought to get my mind going again...
How about a Code Project Survivor competition? I know how much we all despise Survivor and a parody is in order.
10 regular(ish) authors are selected from CP. How we select them could be tricky, but we can manage.
Begining of the first week each posts an article. One with the highest ranking at the end of the week gets immunity. The other 9 are then set a language-agnostic challenge to complete within 24 hours (world wide time zones have to be included of course.) The results are posted and we all vote on which is best, the one with the least amount of votes, gets kicked. In the case of a draw Chris chooses (or Bob could choose to keep Chris neutral of course), we don't have time to re-vote or do something else.)
The next week there are just 9 authors, once again who have to each write an article. Repeat and stir a bit with different challenges and a few surprises.
An alternative idea:
The 10 are split into 2 camps (camp wOOt and camp Opinionated) and each camp collaborates to write an article. The camp with the best article, gets immunity, and the other camp has to do the challenge.
Naturally 10 may be a bit much and last a bit long, so we can cut that down if needed.
Not sure of prizes.. maybe a Code Project tatoo (Out opinionate, Out rant, Out rave) or a trip to the Outback to see what survival is really all about

And instead of the CP-survivors having to do a food challenge, can we make them look at some VB code?

I know CP is reaping in the money with its VS.NET sales, Unfortunatly I don't wanna upgrade just yet for a coupole of reasons, I have actually considered upgrading for the CP Icon, thingy. But $800. seems quite expensive for this one priviledge
Anyhow how about making a limited series of Icon-Heads and Auctioning them here at CP ?

I can hear it now "....Convert to Visual Studio.NET and get a free Code Project icon...", not a bad idea but Collin there are a lot of other GREAT reasons to begin using the .NET Framework aside from an icon.
