manage your asp.net account permissions

create new folder in your hard drive. c:\temp for example.
select it and right click over the folder and chose properties.
select the security tab and then press add button to adding new user.
select aspnet user and press ok.
in the permissions section allow fullcontrol access.
then your operations(delete,modify,create,...) must be referenced to this folder.

I'm not sure...but here is just a suggestion
Open IIS MMC, check the ASP.NET version setting of your site
<< >>
|
|
|
|
|
goto windows\microsoft.net\framework directory and find .net Frameworke version that your application use it and from it's location find aspnet_regiis.exe and execute it such as "aspnet_regiis.exe /i"

Hello,
take a look at the following line of code...
<%@ Page language="c#" Codebehind="Default.aspx.cs" AutoEventWireup="false" Inherits="_Default" %>
however, if I put the class _Default in a namespace, say MyNamespace and try the following line:
<%@ Page language="c#" Codebehind="Default.aspx.cs" AutoEventWireup="false" Inherits="MyNamespace._Default" %>
VS generates an error:
Could not load type 'MyNamespace._Default'
Any help would be highly appreciated...

remove the _ (underscore) from the
<br />
Inherits="MyNameSpace._Default"<br />
to
<br />
Inherits="MyNameSpace.Default"<br />
|
|
|

|
Thanks for the reply pal, have tried that already, doesn't matter what the name of the class is, it still won't compile...

Just to be sure, did you put codebehing class (in .cs file) into same namespace?
I don't feel like firing up IDE, but I think that pages are always in some namespace (default project namespace), and you don't prefix class name in Inherits page directive. Did you try it without MyNamespace, add it only in codebehind?

maybe u bind your listbox in pageload or prerender event.
in this state in first time bind your listbox and set that index to -1 automaticaly
make sure your list box bind once
or take it to:
if(!IsPostBack)
BindMyListBox();//this is your bind procedure

Hi Magi,
You have to send only dll and aspx files.
Open Project->Copy Project from your IDE.
From "Web Access Method:" Select "Front Page" and from
"Copy:" select "only files needed to run this application" option.

Hello friends ...
good morning..
I want to use make client side validation on a button using javascript such as textbox is empty or not. After that I want to put textbox value into database using server side code using c#.
Is it possible? I am using html controls making them runat= server
How?
|
|

u can use RegularExpressionValidator or RequiredFieldValidator and set ControlToValidate property to your control such as textbox

Ok ..But is it possible that both client side script on onclick (for validation ) will run first and then server side code (for database entry) will run .
