Hello Profissionals,
I want to include the Calendar Web Control (based on UmAlqura algorithm) in my web page.
I did the following: (using Visual Studio.Net 2005)
1- Dragged the calendar web control form the web control tools and dropped it in my form.
2- In the web page’s culture property, I selected the “ar-SA Arabic (Saudi Arabia) ”
3- When I run, I get the web page with Hijri Calender
But
This calendar doesn’t represent the UmAlqura Calendar; I think it represents the Kuwait calendar.
My question is:
How can I make the Calendar Web Control use the UmAlqura algorithm instead of the default one??
Please direct me as soon as possible...
Thanks in advance...

<code></code>Hello @all
For my new Website, based on ASP.NET 2.0, i use a table-based masterpage with a cph within.
The Siteview needs to be limited on height 650px, so that the scrollbars inside the page to the left of the cph.
<code>
<div style="height:650px; overflow:auto; white-space:normal;">
<table>
<tr>
<td class="td_content_main">
<asp:contentplaceholder id="cph_master" runat="server">
</asp:contentplaceholder>
</td>
</tr>
</table>
</div>
</code>
Now i have a problem: if anybody wants to print this page, he can only print the content of 650px height + scrollbars. How can i solve that, to have a printview and a print of the full-content without scrollbars ?
And how is it possible to switch between different frames in the print preview ?
Thanks a lot for any help

Hi,
Here goes my problem.
I am using a webcam to take a picture and i am passing that picture to my application. In the application i want to edit that picture according to my needs (like to change the width, height etc..). How do i go about doing the same. Are any image capturing & editing tools required to be plugged in with this .net application? If so please let me know.And any info abt the available tools for carrying out the taks are also welcome.

Just give you suggestion...capture image from cam and save it to some where
then the your image processing application read those...

There lies the problem. I don't want to save that photograph. I directly need to buffer it somewhere and pass it to the application and from there do all the editing required and pass it to the printer to print the ticket.

Hi,
I have a wsdl.exe generated proxy called UserService which at the minute talks to www.somewhere.com/someservice, or whatever.
I am developing an application (for college) where a company will setup my webservice 'someService' on their server, and an application will talk to that.
So obviously someServicewill need:
[System.Web.Services.WebServiceBindingAttribute(Name = "someService", Namespace = "http://tempuri.org/")]
to be changed to reflect the company's address, etc. There is also a variable 'Url', but that can be easily changed at creation time:
public UserService()
{
this.Url = "http://localhost:3961/S3OnTheGoWebService/S3OnTheGoService.asmx";
}
I need to know how to change that WebServiceBindingAttribute at runtime - well, at least whatever it is 'setting', as I would to provide the ability for the user to specify which web service to use when loading up the application.
I'm not really sure what WebServiceBindingAttribute is for, or why it is needed.
Any help or suggesstions appreciated,
Cormac Redmond

There's your clue....placeholders are intended to be used to display UserConrols (ascx's)....
As mentioned below, ytou can sometimes get away with just changing the extension, but really, you should code it up as a control - it's not difficult, and most of what you already have can be just pasted straight in...

I'm having a problem with the ajax calendar extender.
I have created tabs using multi view control.
In the first tab I have calendar extender control and the second tab one label for indication.
Once you select the date on the first tab then navigate to the next tab, working fine, but once u press the first tab from the second tab again then I'm getting an error.
I'm attaching a sample application for your further reference.
Even I'm trying to solve the issue.
Awaiting for your valuable reply.
