Yes, but I think it used to be more of a halo and less of a bar - i.e. the animation has changed a bit.

The current newsletters don't seem to be indexed in the "Newsletter Archive" section. This section includes only newsletters through 8/7/06. Am I missing a link to the more current newsletters?

The newsletter archive setup has been changed and we've not yet updated that page to reflect the new location of the archived newsletters. Thanks for pointing this out

Hi,
I've given a vote for some articles in "Your favourite C# articles from March".
Later, when I've entered the survey again (from the title page of CP) it prompted me to vote again! Hopefully it didn't allow me to give a 2nd vote.
But I think that, if a user has already voted, he should be redirected to poll results directly.
It's not a bug, but simply an annoying thing...
Best regards,
- Dmitry.

Hi everyone!
If you browse the the title page of CodeProject, you'll see the "Editor's Choice" section with some article under this title.
Maybe it'd be nice to have this "Editor's Choice" as a link to some kind of "golden pantheon of articles" section - articles that CP editors find the most useful?
How do you feel about it?
Best regards,
- Dmitry.

That would be cool.

I agree. To kick this up a notch, how about a special icon displayed next to the article name in searches, section listings, etc., showing that it had been an Editors' Choice?

Nice Idea!

Has anyone else noticed that the "Do not post programming questions in the lounge" thing is neither bold nor red? Something is horribly wrong.

When a message is voted, a reason can also be given. Perhaps optionally.

You already have the option to leave a message when you vote on a message. It is called replying to the message.

Many times in the VB.Net forum it can get confusing which version of .Net or VS someone is using, therefor making it harder to answer the user's question. Can a rule about this be added to the "How to get an answer" post? And maybe even the other visual programming forums? It would help clear things up a lot.

Absolutely! The number of times someone asks a question in the SQL forum only to come back and tell me it doesn't work because they are actually using Access or Oracle or some such thing is astounding.

I've attempted multiple reloads and it keeps getting cut off in the same place so I assume someone's got malformed html in a post again.

CleaKO The sad part about this instance is that none of the users ever said anything [about the problem].

the problem seems to live in this post:
>>> How ToExecute DTS using C#.Net Code behind ?[modified]
it's the last post that's displayed, and even the bottom of the page isn't displayed (like ads and stuff).
But when I changed the postview from 50 to 25, it the defect post was moved to the next page, and the first page displayed fine. But now when I go to the next page, it's this one that's also bugging.
Must be some illegal char that's killing your ASP or something... :p please let us/me know what the problem/solution was, I'm curious.
Visual Studio can't evaluate this, can you?

The CP voting system is down again, this time with a "Internal Server Error" message. I've tried several messages on different forums, and they all give errors.
[EDIT] The error usually occurs on messages that have been voted Spam by another user.
