I found the way to complete the compilation/linker process:
Property Project / Linker / Input / Addictional dependencyes
add this library: "msvcrt.lib"
Then....no more LNK2001 or LNK1120 errors.
Now I have to understand if my dll will really work.

Russell

as far as this is managed C++, it doesn't belong to this forum...
BTW, shouldn't you use gcnew instead ?
|
|

|

Of course...the other forum...but... well...here I can found more people!
And It was a very simple question: it was at the entry level, not a really Managed programming.
About gcnew: I use VS2003, there that command is unknown. I migrate as soon as possible to VS2005, but I haven't enough money at this moment
Thanks

oh, then why not asking directly in the lounge...
for gcnew, i don't know anything to managed C++ and C++/CLI, so i suggested it like that...
try the MC++ forum anyway, i'm sure some could tell

Go into your project properties, you'll find a 'tab' (depends of which IDE you are using) called "Build events". You can specify a command line to execute during the "Pre-Build Event".

Okay... just for your information, you will probably get no help at all unless you provide at least some information as to what your problem is.
Why is it that you think that MFC apps are not compatible with Vista?
Why is common sense not common?
Never argue with an idiot. They will drag you down to their level where they are an expert.

Did you use the /MAKEVISTACOMPATIBLE compiler switch?

Hi everybody,
if i add a text to the statusbar, the font-color is gray and not black.
The same like the NUM,CapsLock and ScrollLock, if one is deactivated the
label "NUM" in statusbar is gray, if it's activated it's black.
What i need to change to color it to black?
Big thanks

This is a very brief post to point you in the right direction...
You would do it by creating an onUiUpdate message for that pain ID. Then create an OnUiUpdate message handler and simply set the text and then enable it like this:
void CMainFrame::OnUpdateCurPosIndicator(CCmdUI *pCmdUI)
{
pCmdUI->SetText("MyText"); // Just a simple text string...
pCmdUI->Enable(1); // this is what will remove the "grayed" text
}

Have you typed "MFC serialization" into the search box at the top of the page?

There are a few articles there and on MSDN to get you going. What's your problem specifically?

Dear all
in C language we can create dynamic multi dimentional arrays by using malloc operator.
But how we can create multidimentional arrays by using new operator in C++.
Please note that length of each dimention is dynamic and is not apparant in compile time.

Mahdi

You can do that in C++.

A code example for a two dimensional array:
int** pArray;
pArray = new int*[10];
for (int i=0; i<10; i++)
pArray[i] = new int[10];
This will create a 10 X 10 array.
