It doesn't have to be the IP address. It can be the machine name.

I explained this to you already. You need to generate them on the server, then you can set the header of a response to be that of a PDF, and response.binarywrite the PDF file to the end user.

in first step you must create a crystalreport object to show my result
for example yourReportFile.rpt
and copy below codes in your submethod:
yourReportFile myrpt = new yourReportFile();
rpt.SetDataSource(yourDataTable);
System.IO.MemoryStream oStream;
oStream = (System.IO.MemoryStream)
myrpt.ExportToStream(
CrystalDecisions.Shared.ExportFormatType.PortableDocFormat);
Response.Clear();
Response.Buffer= true;
Response.ContentType = "application/pdf";
Response.BinaryWrite(oStream.ToArray());
Response.End();
We Can Do Anything, If We Want It

Actually, that's not true. If you just write the PDF directly, you don't need crystal reports at all.

Hi guys!
I want to use the evaluation copy of Dundas Chart in my ASP.NET project. I have a table with temperatures in degrees and datetime in my database. I need a simple Line Chart
<<http: www.dundas.com="" gallery="" chart="" net="" index.aspx?imggroup="Line">>
to display the dependence of the temperature on the datetime.
I know nothing about asp.net charts. Is this difficult to implement?
Thank you and sorry for my bad English

I am currently using Dundas chart in my project.
It is very easy to use.
If U download the evaluation version, U will find a Web Appliation(Documentation).
From there U can find lot of code samples.
U can design whatever graph U wish.It is very easy.

Hi,
I am having one problem. I have one web application calling web service, say webservice1. Webservice1 calls webservice2 which reads a file from the network and sends back the response. The problem is web application, webservice1 and webservice2 are all running under network service account. Network service account does not access to network resources. Hence, in the webservice2 I have to find the currently logged on user and impersonate it. After that the code will work fine.
The problem is, how to get the currently logged user and impersonate it when I am not having his password.

Jayant

In IIS 6.0 you can always assign the web service you want to give more access rights to, a custom application pool with the account set to "SYSTEM" or even to log on as a user on the server you can set up with just the permissions your web service needs.

Yes, you are right. But that will make whole web service running in authenticed mode. I want to run a piece of code under the context of currently logged on user.

Hi Dear,
Well you don't need to do anything inside the code except (strict path names while redirectiong).. to use SSL..
basically SSL implements on your web Server not on code..
what you have to do is : 1) you need a SSL certificate for your web server and you can get a trial version of it from http://www.verisign.com/
then install it ..
2) make a virtual directory into your web server and just go to properties and select Directory Security and from there Secure Comm. section and click on edit and check require SSL certif. and 128 bit.. and "OK"..
you can implement it on either a single Web page or a Whole directory.. but when you redirect to that page/directory you have to give write https://address/ for non SSL page you have to write http://address..
-hope it would work for you
