I suppose you've already tried a Ctrl-Refresh?

Hmm,
Just logged in from home and SwitchMessage seems to be there now.
It's inline in the page so I can't have been seeing an old version of the page or I wouldn't have been seeing any new messages.
Maybe it's been quietly fixed?

Now I'm in work again and getting the same issue.
Is Chris just messing with my mind?
I can only assume either that the code is written server side conditionally according to something about the Request and for some reason at home it gets written, at work it doesn't.
Or some of the servers on the web farm have out of synch pages.

Sussed it!
It happens when the View is on "Normal (Slow)" changing it to "Message" fixed it.

I had a thought about midnight lastnight that that might have been the case. You beat me to it.
Fix has been made. Thanks for your help.

Chris,
Can you ask your people to make a facial to this article? (old though). So much of blemish spots!

Hi, I wonder if it would make more sense to have the "ATL/WTL/STL" message board without "STL". It seams that STL questions (Standard Template Library) anyway pop up in the Visual C++ forum...
Cheers

I'd rather members post in the correct forum

Dude, all *templates* fall there.

How about a button that says "Move to Sports"? Oh, and create a Sports Message Board.

I think we could save Chris a lot of time by suggesting a "Move to Who Gives a Shit?" link. That should cover ALL of the cricket posts, and everything posted by Link2006.

Everything he posts is crap, but does anyone know if he went over to that girls house that called him up out of the blue a few weeks ago? It could explain his absence in for the last few weeks...I hope anyway! If there was ever a poster child for getting a life, he's it.

I'd be curious to find out his score on that nerd test.

There isn't a test in existance that can reach every corner of his geekdom.

The Help!->About Us doesn't work
Hasn't for weeks.
Maybe months.
Could be longer than that, since I don't go there often, but have tried over the past couple weeks ... Thought someone might want to know ...

Try F5-ing a few times. It takes a while to load. So give it about 30-45 seconds between each Refresh. I usually get through within 3 F5s.

Can't that be fixed?
Trinity: Neo... nobody has ever done this before.
Neo: That's why it's going to work.

Yes, significantly. It's almost instant in the new version. It'll be out soon.

... it's sad, or I am, that I was actually 'excited' about a new version of the CP Help->About page.
I really need a life.
