One way to do it is to use Ajax enabled functionality to retrive the data from server and then in the callBack method, use the print() function of the window object to print the page. fine ?

Hi,
I am developing a property retal website and I am looking for code that I can implement into my website that shows a user when a property has been booked for. I am looking for a simple calendar like in the link below. I need it to work on my website, not on a 3rd party's website:
http://rentors.org/calendar.aspx?propertyid=9&culturename=en-US[^]
The code can either be in C# or VB.NET, and I can change it to C#. I am running on .NET 2.0.
I hope someone can help.

Hi,
I'm having a problem that is slowly driving over the edge...
I have a page with 3 listboxes that I populate dynamically with the names of files on the server. I have a SelectedIndexChanged event on each of the listboxes that simply redirects the page to the selected document.
the problem is when i return from a document, i can only select a new doc if it is from the same listbox, or one on the left. If I select from a listbox on the right, the last doc opened comes up again.
Thanks in advance for any help,
Craig

How do you do to return from a document?

I think that you have to show a bit of your code if anyone should be able to tell what's wrong with it.

I am returning via the back button. This is an intranet site, so these are actual word and excel docs on the network that i am linking to, not aspx pages.
this is pretty much all the code there is...
<asp:ListBox ID="lstMemos" runat="server" OnSelectedIndexChanged="lstMemos_SelectedIndexChanged"
AutoPostBack="true" Rows="10" Width="90%"></asp:ListBox>
protected void Page_Load(object sender, EventArgs e) {
if (!this.IsPostBack) {
//populate memos
string folderToBrowse = Server.MapPath(memoPath);
DirectoryInfo dirInfo = new DirectoryInfo(folderToBrowse );
foreach (FileInfo fileItem in dirInfo.GetFiles()) {
lstMemos.Items.Add(fileItem.Name);
}
}
//I populate 2 more listboxes here - same code
}
//there are 2 more functions just like this for the other 2 listboxes
protected void lstMemos_SelectedIndexChanged(object sender, EventArgs e) {
Response.Redirect(Path.Combine(memoPath, lstMemos.SelectedItem.Text));
}

Hello.
I have a website made in ASP.NET 2, with a login page. I'm not using the membership class. I'm checking in the active directory if my user exists.
If I have found my user, a new page appear with different links.
There is one on an Apache server. How can I do to not login again,on apache server ?
What should I put in my web config file for authentication mode ? "forms or windows" ?
How apache knows that I'm already connected ?
Thanks in advance for your help.

I have this html in my asp.net page:
<div id='topics'>
<asp:Repeater ID="repeaterTopics" runat="server" DataSourceID="SqlDataSourceTopics">
<ItemTemplate>
<input type="checkbox" id='<%#DataBinder.Eval(Container.DataItem, "TopicName")%>'
name='topic.<%#DataBinder.Eval(Container.DataItem, "TopicID")%>' />
<label for='<%#DataBinder.Eval(Container.DataItem, "TopicName")%>' class="topic">
<%#DataBinder.Eval(Container.DataItem, "TopicName")%>
</label>
<br />
</ItemTemplate>
</asp:Repeater>
<asp:SqlDataSource ID="SqlDataSourceTopics" runat="server" SelectCommand="SELECT [TopicID], [TopicName] FROM [Topics]">
</asp:SqlDataSource>
</div>
However, the data it gets back from the DB has a crap load of whitespace on the end, how can I trim it? I think it's causing a rendering bug in safari.

try with RTRIM ...you can search more from SQL online book

Hi,
While retriving data from database you remove blank spaces by using "RTRIM & LTRIM" function.
Eg:-
SELECT LTRIM(RTRIM(Your_Column_Name)) from tableName

Use convert(varchar(10), 'YOUR DATE COLUMN', 14) in the SP/SQL that populates the grid.
