That will be too much for forums.
For connecting DB from ASP.NET page you need the following
1. A SQL Connection String that includes database name, server name , user Id and password
2. SQLClient namespace
3. SQLConnection, SQLCommand class objects..
Do a search with all these, you will get the result.

A wild guess bcs I am not familiar with ASP.NET calendar control. After page loads take viewsource and check how calendar control is rendering. What will be the name of the textbox. Get this name and replace this in the getElementById.

System.IO.StringWriter oStringWriter = new System.IO.StringWriter();
System.Web.UI.HtmlTextWriter oHtmlTextWriter = new
System.Web.UI.HtmlTextWriter(oStringWriter);
gvClients.RenderControl(oHtmlTextWriter);
but it through exception on running: 'Control 'gvClients' of type 'GridView' must be placed inside a form tag with runat=server.'

Hi
Just add runat=server to the gridview gvClients so that you can access that id in the code behind file.
Hope you got it.

Hi ritu,
As i told you yesterday
Create a public propery to that user control.
If you dont know search google on creating properties.
and come if any problem arises.
To succeed, we must first believe that we can.

Machine.config file contains settings that apply to entire computer. ASP.NET configuration system first checks in the Machine.Config file for <appsettings> tag.

I think there is no client side controls. You can categorize like ASP controls and HTML controls. ASP controls can be accessed from the codebehind page. HTML controls also accessible from code behind , but not directly. May be when the form is posting back. ASP controls will have a runat="server" tag.

ASP.NET works in client server architecture. What do you mean by sending data from one system to another. I think you have one SQL Server DB which is located on Machine A and your ASP.NET application server is on Machine B. Now you want to send data from B to A. Am I rite ? If so write the connection string for the Machine A in your ASP.NET application. It could be something like
server=MachineA;uid=SQLUserId;pwd=SQLPWd;database=YourDB;
