Hi.
XSL is used to transform XML documents in a friendlier and more easily readable format, HTML.
Is it possible to save the generated HTML as a file on the disk?
Thanks.

|
Yes.
It is possible to do the XSL transformation into a Stream and then write that Stream to the disk using a StreamWriter

Thanks.
As i found out, with .NET 2.0 's XMLCompiledTransform class it's even easier:
XslCompiledTransform xslt = new XslCompiledTransform();<br />
xslt.Load("output.xsl");<br />
<br />
xslt.Transform("books.xml", "books.html");

Hello everyone,
I am currently using a TabControl in an Windows Application. I would like to have the same functionality as TabControl (Multi-Pages) so, I can have different pages with various functionalities (Buttons, DataGridView, and etc.) but I don't wish to have the "Tab" to change the pages. I would like to create the illusion that the entire page changed by simply cilcking the desired page from the Menu. Something similar to Outlook.
Can someone be kind enough to tell me what Control do I need to use to have this?
I hope I managed to make sence. Thank you very much and have a great day.

No built in control does this. You'd have to write, buy or find one.

Hi,
Use the following steps to get the scroll bars and multiline drawn:
1) Implement the "EditingControlShowing" event handler of the datagrid.
2) Check if the currently editable control is of type "TextBoxEditingControl" .
3) Finally set the properties.
The block of the code need to add in the "EditingControlShowing" event handler is as below:
if (e.Control.GetType() == typeof(DataGridViewTextBoxEditingControl))
{
DataGridViewTextBoxEditingControl EditingControl = (DataGridViewTextBoxEditingControl)e.Control;
EditingControl .ScrollBars = ScrollBars.Both;
EditingControl .Multiline = true;
}

As my input is only limited to the C# disussion board, and also there I only have average knowledge, it would really be a much to high honor.
But reading this from you, was the zenith of this day.
So thanks again!
All the best,
Martin

If you're using MDI form as the main form, then just determine the child and call the Close() method.

Go for wild cards.. ie *@*.??? meaning "anything@anything.three letters"..
For the domain, you can ping it and see if it exists, that's your best bet.

Hi!
i m developing web portal in C# asp.net web application. i want to display image in hyperlink control rather than text. i can do it by using hyperlink's property that is 'imageurl', but problem is that in hyperlink,image displays in actual size not in that size which i have given in hyperlink height and width property.
can u plz tell me how i can restrict size of hyperlink upto my own requirment i mean i want to display all the images in hyperlink of size 100/100,even if image actual size is 500/500. just as i can do in image control.No matter how big image is but it always displays in that fixed size which i give to it.
Thanx

Use File.Exists. I usually just build a loop and append a number to the filename, until I get one that isn't there already
