If the email is HTML and does a submit to your web site, then you need to have them submit to an ASPX, get the values you need out of the form and put them in the database.

OK, I give up. If I have a plain text file as an embedded resource (web resource) in an assembly for a web app, how the heck do I acquire the text that it contains at runtime? I don't want a URL to it, I want the actual text itself so that I can programatically assign it to various HTML elements.

Let me confess that am not the best there is in Javascript and am doing something about that. I have created a custom multi-column dropdownlist comprising of a fixed length textbox and a dropdown whose length is limited only by the longest text on the list. It is however faced with a few problems. When the control is positioned near the right side of the page, I want the dropdown to extend to the left side of the page. I need someone to give me guidelines (links, ideas, code listing) on how I can make it exhibit my desired behaviour. Thanks in advance

In ADO.NET there are no Recordsets.
What do you mean by the "Current" Recordset? In what way would it be "current"?
There is no default way that a database result would be displayed as a printout. How do you want the printout to look?
Whatever you want to print, do you want to print it to a printer connected to the server or connected to the client?

I made an application with asp.net 2.0 (c#) to manage users in active directory.
I need to reset the user's password and at the first access The system have to ask me to change the password.
Any Idea?

Well dude, its not clear what you're asking,
I mean -
is the question how to create a unique password ?
in that case you can use the create a unique ID using the .NET's GUID
or the logic of how to know if he is entering on the first time...
in that case you can use a boolean flag in the database, say "IsFirstTimer"
that is set to True at first and then set to False
or did you have a different question

I try to explain better..
With my application i can create user and store it to active directory. I set for the user a default password.
With this credentials user can login into Windows: if it's the first access, Windows ask to change the password.
If a user losts the password, my application allow to reset it, and set a new default password. Now when the user login into Windows, the system have to re-ask to change the password... How can I do this?
The code to reset the password is below
DirectoryEntry uEntry = GetDirectoryEntry(Path);
uEntry.Invoke("SetPassword", new object[] { "NewPassword"});
uEntry.Properties["LockOutTime"].Value = 0; //unlock account
int flags = (int)uEntry.Properties["userAccountControl"][0];
uEntry.Properties["pwdLastSet"].Value = -1;
uEntry.CommitChanges();
uEntry.Close();

on a web server in addition to the sharepoint we have ASP.NET applications.
Some of the ASP.NET applications are under Framework 1.1 and others are 2.0 each using a different application Pool.
The sharepoint is working fine however all the ASP.NET applications are not functioning (both 1.1 and 2.0)
And giving the below errors
Server Application Unavailable
The web application you are attempting to access on this web server is currently unavailable. Please hit the "Refresh" button in your web browser to retry your request.
Administrator Note: An error message detailing the cause of this specific request failure can be found in the application event log of the web server. Please review this log entry to discover what caused this error to occur.
in the event log:
ASP.NET 2.0.50727.0 - event ID 1088

Try reinstalling ASP.NET on your box using the Administration utility (2.0.50727) to install and uninstall ASP.NET on the local machine.:
Open a command prompt
Stop IIS: iisreset /stop
Change to the .NET Framework 2.0 root directory: C:\winnt\Microsoft.Net\Framework\v2.0.50727\
Reinstall ASP.NET 2.0 by using the following command: aspnet_regiis -i command.
Start IIS again after it has been run: iisreset /start
Try to access your web page again.
Hope this will solve your problem.
Regards,
Satips.

Why don't you use Http Web Request using that u can set and get cookies also
HttpWebRequest request = (HttpWebRequest)WebRequest.Create(args[0]);<br />
request.CookieContainer = new CookieContainer();<br />
<br />
HttpWebResponse response = (HttpWebResponse) request.GetResponse();<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
foreach (Cookie cook in response.Cookies)<br />
{<br />
Console.WriteLine("Cookie:");<br />
Console.WriteLine("{0} = {1}", cook.Name, cook.Value);<br />
Console.WriteLine("Domain: {0}", cook.Domain);<br />
Console.WriteLine("Path: {0}", cook.Path);<br />
Console.WriteLine("Port: {0}", cook.Port);<br />
Console.WriteLine("Secure: {0}", cook.Secure);<br />
<br />
Console.WriteLine("When issued: {0}", cook.TimeStamp);<br />
Console.WriteLine("Expires: {0} (expired? {1})", <br />
cook.Expires, cook.Expired);<br />
Console.WriteLine("Don't save: {0}", cook.Discard); <br />
Console.WriteLine("Comment: {0}", cook.Comment);<br />
Console.WriteLine("Uri for comments: {0}", cook.CommentUri);<br />
Console.WriteLine("Version: RFC {0}" , cook.Version == 1 ? "2109" : "2965");<br />
<br />
Console.WriteLine ("String: {0}", cook.ToString());<br />
}
Thanks and Regards
