Simply add a event hamdler in the OnInit Method
Button1.Click += new EventHandler(Button2_Click1);

Hi,

Actually i want the button2_click() event to be fired on click of a <td> in the table of my aspx code.
i.e.
<TD id="D0" onmouseover="this.style.backgroundColor='#ffeb99'; style="CURSOR: hand" onmouseout="this.style.backgroundColor='';" align="center" onclick="btnMarkRead_Click;"></TD>

here on click of this <td> i want to call the btnMarkRead_Click event.

How to achieve this?

you can't do like this as the is not going to run at server

i am having gridview control in which an update image is there. ON rowcommand event of gridview i am updating database. ON commandargument the primary key of the gridview is there. but to get the values of textboxes on that row i want row index property of the gridview which i am not getting on row command . How to solve this.

Bind the Update Image's CommandArgument with the primary key. If you do this, you should have the ability to get the primary key as e.CommandArgument.

Try this...

Else use the RowUpdating Event, since you are using the "Update" as your CommandName of the Update Image.

Hi guys,
I just want to save some data from the website that I known how to write into the file already but I don't know how can I click a button and then the Save as dialog showing up.

Adn I used FileUpload to seeking for a file that I want to upload to the server But I really don't know which tool in the Toolbox to showing the Save as dialog box.

Anybody can guide me about this?

Hi,

I have a class which will select some data and return me with some user's details (which consist of int,char,varchar...). I am having a problem to return this array list as I keep on getting conversion error from char to int. How should I return this list of data since it is a mixture of data type.

Make a class to use as data container, which has properties for the different data values you want to return.

Thanks for the reply, I guess this is the most common way.

I know I might sound stupid but I'm not very good with object oriented, I wanted to know if I would declare a public variable in my class, once I got the data from the database, I assign it to this public variable so that I can access it from another page, is that alright to do it like this?

One way is instead of returning Array or ArrayList create one class suppose UserProfile that will have all private varaibles with public property
return object of this class like this

Hi,

I am working on web application using C# which send htmlwebrequest at every 5 second to communicator web access server. After some request that communicator web access server is going slow down. So it reply comes slow and my system going to be hang.

Can anybody tell me why that server is going to down?

I userd following code:
