Hello,
It seems that the assembly ADODB is not in the correct directory.
Also, I did a quick google search about ADODB, it appears to be a PHP library. If it's the case, you cannot use it in .NET

Of course you can use it. You need to put adodb.dll in your applications' bin folder. It is probably already on your computer (do a search fr it) or drop me an email and I'll send you it.

Hi,
There is no way to delete column from gridview.
Better you make is invisible.
gv.Columns[colindex].Visible = false;
I hope this will help you.
Thanks and Regards,

i have mapped BLL to datagrid;
gv.Columns[colindex].Visible = false;
gv.datasource = Countrylogic.getdata();
gv.databind();
will not make column invisible;
because gv.Columns.count =0;
moreover i added one checkbox to after that
gv.Columns.count =1;
so it will remove checkbox column;

Hi,
Here u r making column invisible before binding gridview to the datasource.
Before loading data into the gridview the coulumn count will be 0 only.
U should do this after binding the gridview.
And if u dont want the column then why do u make that column at all?
Thanks and Regards,

hai
i used autopostback true in texbox.and also i set the tab index sequentialy for all textbox.while i press tab means its not goto the next textbox.this is very urgent

Ok, this is urgent but I think we can slow down enough to figure out how to solve it. What is it doing when you press tab? Is it tabbing to the next one the posting back and starting you at the first textbox again or what?

Ok, I understand that. But what happens when you do tab? Does it reload that page really fast? Does it do anything at all?

Iam new to ASP.Net, I have designed a form which contains a combo box and some text boxes and a Gridview. Now When Iam Executing the program it will displays complete records in the Grid in the Pageload Event. But when I change my text in Combo Box it is not refreshing the Data according to the Selection of Combo Box. So, Which event I should use for the above problem?
I used "SelectedIndexChanged" Event for changing the data in the gridview according to the selection of Combo Box but it is not updating the details in the Gridview.
Thanx in advance

Check 1)have u set autopostback=true for the dropdownlist
2)in the page load event check wether it is a pageload or postback by writing like if(!ispostback==true)
{
}
this thing may assist u....
|
|
|
|
|
- Set autopostback of the dropdown to true
- make the pageload functions in ispostback
- write the selected index changed event for drop down

Good thing you said urgent, if you didn't people would have waited a long time before they replied. I urgently suggest you try what they told you to do.
