i have created one cookie object for my project in login page. i created that cookie to store login information using formsauthentication. main purpose is to provide "remember me" feature. so when user enters login name and password and clicks on logon button,it will store login info. so when next time user logins in he doesnot have to provide login info and redirected to the other page than login page. for that i have set cookie expiry date after 1 yr. when i run my project first time it will create cookie object and store login info in that. but when i am trying to access cookie object at page load event for second time it will be deleted and also not redirected to other page. what is the reason that cookie object is deleted and also user is not redirected to other page?

Hi,
This is the third time I'm positng this question, because nobody did respond to this, the only response I got dint solve this issue..
I'm working on a project for dynamic code generation. We are creating the entire solution from scratch here(just at the initial stage).
I create aspx and code behind files in the PL, but after the entire solution is created, I try to open the aspx file in the designer and I get this error:
"The file could not be loaded in to the Web Forms designer."
I am getting this link for help:
http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa289356(VS.71).aspx
But I'm using src attribute like this and it was working when creating file using VS 2003:
Could someone point out whats going wrong here.
Am I the only person having this problem??
Regards,
Blumen

the error is talking about the page/custom control declaration not a script declaration. reread the error page.
post the top line from the aspx page/or custom control in question

You really can't, without writing your own indexing code.

You can create an Xml document a number of ways, including generating one from a dataset, creating it using an XmlWriter, or using the XmlDomDocument class to manipulate the DOM. None of these approaches will let you write invalid XML.

After i click a button to show message box ==> MessageBoc.Show("Error");
Bellow message displayed.......
It is invalid to show a modal dialog or form when the application is not running in UserInteractive mode. Specify the ServiceNotification or DefaultDesktopOnly style to display a notification from a service application.
How to solve this problem?

MessageBox.Show("Error");
this will not work in Asp.NET bcoz run time message box can be generated using only scripting languages.
like Javascript.

hi wongeva
it's so simple to writing the Javascript in your asp.net application
just follow the steps
-- Open your html source view(behind the designer form)
-- write down the code in after the
<title>
--
function ClickMe()
{
Alert("The Messabox Appears");
return false;
}
-- and call this function on your "OnClick" event of button
--Like <input type="submit" id="btnDemo" OnClick="return ClickMe();" runat="server">
Hope this will help U...Best luck

function ClickMe()
{
Alert("The MessageBox Appears");
return false;
}

Javascript is case sensetive. Change Alert to alert .
