Yep! Three times now and working on a 4th straight MVP!
Great... it's really impressive.. I respect those people who got MVP from CP or Microsoft because they spent a lot of time for helping other people's problem.. One of my friend is also MVP in Visual Basic.
I hope that I will be MVP on one day.
Best of luck for your 4th MVP!!!

average post score outside the lounge (and presumably the soapbox?).

You have to explain to them [VB coders] what you mean by "typed". their first response is likely to be something like, "Of course my code is typed. Do you think i magically project it onto the screen with the power of my mind?" --- John Simmons / outlaw programmer

how to make T9 dictionary using c sharp?
thanks in advance
Simple:
You read in an arbitrary (the more the better) number of text files (or other formats containing text) in a given language, then filter the words for frequency, letter order rules and other linguistic specialties, then store these in a self-contained relational database (like sqlite) or another file format (like ISAM-files). Yince you are talking about C#, ODBC drivers might help you a lot.
No, this most probably is not what you wanted, but it is (both literally and metaphorically) what you were asking for!
Cheers,
Sebastian

plz arrange for any article on how to prevent a user from a web page to his/ her local system ....

You can't. If the user can view the web page, then it's already saved on his system somewhere (eg the browser's cache).
The simple answer is NO. As the content streams down to the web browser it is already stored out in multiple places - browser cache, proxy cache ...
That's true. first the page is streamed down to the local system before it is viewed. But in some pages i've seen that they will disable the menu and tool bar and even the the right mouse click using javascript.
and afterwards when we try to visit this page offline.. (through history or cache) they will be no trace left of this particular page. they would have cleared the history even while leaving the page..
it's true that web pages are stored(streamed) in the local system(temporary
files etc) and its possible to prevent the data from storing.
visit www.pageflakes.com
www.netvibes.com
you can save the main file but it will not allow you to get the data from
server.

Yeah but then you just go to View Source via the main menu and you can still see it. If you can't use the main menu (and I've never seen a page that can disable that) then you just turn off javascript :P
Some people will also encode the javascript but then you can use firebug as it has to be decoded at some point.

Hi Everyone
If I write an article here on Code Project, is it ok to put the source code on sourceforge.net and provide a link to that project in the article?
thanks
Nick

I have seen some authors link to an external site, but I don't think it's an "approved" practice. I suggest you upload the current source to CP, and then provide a link in the article to the SF page - that way, people can check there for updates, and maybe contribute too.

One release version in CP is the standard practice. Todolist2 is a good example.

Hi,
I am working in dotnet for the past 1 year and it's going fine. but the thing is i need to know what is COM and why is it used sometimes in .net. I don't even know about COM. I need to have a clear idea about COM and COM Components. Can anyone pls provide me with a clear article on COM so that a starter like me would understand it clearly.
Regards
Vijay.
