After you drag and drop the datagrid into the form go to the datagrid properties there you can find the properties called AutoGeneratedColum set that to false after that right click the grid you can able to find PropertyBuilder you will be displayed datagrid property window their you can find the menu called Column after selecting the column you can find the column list from that select bound column their you can find the bound column properties in header text you can write whatever you want.
I thing you have got the solution
Thanks

Hi,
Can someone guide me on this scenario:
I have a page A in which an iframe is present.
The src of the iframe is set to another page B. This page B contains a button btnReDir.
I want to redirect to another page C once btnReDir is clicked. Page C is a totally separate page. In short user should be navigated to Page C.
Any help will be apppreciated!

Hi,
Any code u have written for that?
Any exception r u getting?
In general we use "Response.Redirect" method to navigate to other page.
Thanks and Regards,

This is the solution:
Response.Write("<script>window.open('../../C.aspx','_parent');</script>");

I'm in need of some advice. I'm in the process of designing an ASP.NET application. The site will need to accomodate three very different types of users. Each type of user will have different properties associated with it, and each will basically map to a role.
I'm considering how to best do this with the role/membership feature of ASP.NET.
I was first contemplating inheriting from MembershipUser, i.e. create three classes that inherited from MembershipUser (one for each kind of user), but as far I understand it that means I will have to provide three provider classes each inheriting from MembershipProvder, resulting in me having to dynamically change provider at runtime, and that seems very convoluted and far from optimal.
Instead I've come to the conclusion that I'll use composition instead. The idea is to create three user classes, each of which has a MembershipUser object reference in their belly. It seems much cleaner and leaner.
But, any advice/experience on this?

using System.Web.UI.WebControls;
Image thumbImage = new Image();
thumbImage.Attributes.Add("onclick", "window.location.href='" + @"\images\" + filePath + "';");
but the resulting page is giving following error:
Description: HTTP 404. The resource you are looking for (or one of its dependencies) could have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable. Please review the following URL and make sure that it is spelled correctly.
Requested URL: /thumbdb/imagesWaterlilies.jpg

|
|
|
|
|
use this
thumbImage.Attributes.Add("onclick", "window.location.href='" + @"..\images\" + filePath + "';");
Vb.net
|
|
|
|
|
the problem is that after "window.location.href", browser discardes all the "\" characters.
For example the resulting url after following statement is..
thumbImage.Attributes.Add("onclick", "window.location.href='" + @"..\images\" + filePath + "';");
http://localhost:4258/thumbdb/..imagesWaterlilies.jpg
You can view that after images there is no any "\" character.

I'm not 100% sure I understand what you mean.
You want a text box to only accept number values?
Then simply use a regular expression validator. \d* will match digits only.

In addition to the above post:
If you want to check while the user inputs data then you have to write some JavaScript that handles this (sorry no sample).
With ASP.NET AJAX it is a bit easier because in the Control Toolkit exists an extender that handles this case out of-the-box.
