Hi,
I have a page with some textboxes ,buttons and FileUpload.
all is well. but when the user update the FileUpload manualy in it's textbox (Exp "c") there is no post back from any of the buttons on the page.
Only when the user enter a valid path like "c:" or uses "browse" the buttons are able to postback
How can I fix this or how can i prevent the user from entering text manualy to the FileUpload.

Just add this "contentEditable=false" to your input file tag. It will serve the purpose.

On the datagrid find the name of the textbox in tempplate control!!

txtObject.attributes.add("javascript function");
Remember that its a template control so only once you need to add the attribute!!!

Sonia Gupta wrote: init
Raised after all controls have been initialized and any skin settings have been applied. Use this event to read or initialize control properties.
Sonia Gupta wrote: load
The Page calls the OnLoad event method on the Page, then recursively does the same for each child control, which does the same for each of its child controls until the page and all controls are loaded.
Use the OnLoad event method to set properties in controls and establish database connections
Sonia Gupta wrote: prerender
The Page object calls EnsureChildControls for each control and for the page.
Each data bound control whose DataSourceID property is set calls its DataBind method.
The PreRender event occurs for each control on the page. Use the event to make final changes to the contents of the page or its controls.
