Ask someone of your development team or look at http://ajax.asp.net.
Basically drag and drop the ScriptManager from the Toolbar onto the design view of the Master page.

This is the main problem that we all are a new development team. The guy who developed it is in Israel and on vocations. ScriptManager is already there in masterpage. I also added following line in <httphandlers> tag under web.config
<add verb="GET" path="ScriptResource.axd" type="Microsoft.Web.Handlers.ScriptResourceHandler" validate="false">
But still no difference. If I page remains untouched for some time or another page sends user to 'Home' page then I get this stupid javascript error. I am really tired with it and still looking for a solution.

This is some other physical location right?

And now you want to copy it form that location to the root folder of your application.
For copying you can use File.Copy method in system.io namespace

But Every user required permission to copy that file as it will through Exception if the user don't have valid permission

I have a stand alone application (messenger). I was asked to the messenger to have the fallowing possibility:
from a link with a phone number parameter to make a call in the application. If the messenger is not installed, to take the client to the official web site. If the product is installed to see if it is open. If it is open and the user is logged in to make the call.
My idea is the client to check the registry and see if the product is there, which solves the first part. If there are certain keys in the registry next step is from the processes to see if the product is active. If active somehow send instruction to call the function : CallNumber( phonenumber phnum)
Can you give me any leads on how to do all this, any other solution to the task?
The project is done in C++
Thank you very much

Ricky,
It looks like the db column you are uploading to isnt the right type for the data you are putting into it. Therefore it isnt able to accept the full 16 digits and hence it displays '1.23E+15' which basically means its got 1.23 but then found an error because there is 15 whole numbers too many for it to display.
The same happens on a calculator when you create a number thats too big for its display.
Try messing about with the db field type eg varchar. If you use varchar you will have more than enough capacity for the number. Therefore if you still get the same problem you know something is wrong with your code. If it works however you can try tinkering with the field type or simply convert from varchar back to a number in your code.

Hi all,
We currently have a webserver running websites done in asp. What implications or should I say problems might occur to the existing sites if I install the .net framework on it. Also, the webserver is currently running on windows 2000 if I'm not mistaken and I want to install the .net framework 2.0 and gradually start converting the sites to it.
Is there any pooling issues that may occur

I think there won't be any problem for the existing ASP pages after you install .NET framework.

Thanks for the reply, I'm just a bit hesitant to do it because it is the live webserver and if the sites hosted on it goes down there are going to be big k@k
