Save your word document as webpage, create a form and place a webbrowser control.
Whenever user clicks Help button dispaly the form with webbrowser navigating to your Help document page.

he hi..
Do one thing just create a .chm file.
you have to use "windows HTML help workshop" for that.
Just search on net u will get help.
For creating .chm it will take time but it will be easier next time.
Thanks

You can create word document as you like, and can navigate the document using webbrowser control.
You can use HypherLinks for making the help documents as like in BookMarks.

- Make public function in Form1
- Call it from Form2
eg:
objForm1.PublicButtonClick();

Hello Michael,
Thanks for your help.
What argument should I pass in it?
rahul saini

|
|
|
|
Just pass "null"
Form2
Form1 obj = new Form1();<br />
obj.button5_Click(null, null);<br />
Form1
public void button5_Click(object sender, EventArgs e)<br />
{<br />
MessageBox.Show("Who did this??? ");<br />
}

The good design practice is to create a property to the button on Form1 and use PerformClick () function.
Eg.
On Form1
public Button Button1<br />
{<br />
get<br />
{<br />
return button1;<br />
}<br />
}<br />
on form2
Form1 obj = new Form1();<br />
obj.Button1.PerformClick ();

Hello,
engsrini wrote: The good design practice is to create a property to the button
I think it would be even better practice to, not make the button public.
Just add a public method to Form1, which calls the PerformClick of the write button!
All the best,
Martin

Hello,
You could also call the PerformClick[^] method of the Button instance!
This will raise the Click event, and I think has also the visual effect.
All the best,
Martin

Either generate RTF (which is a bit messy, but not that complex for simply stuff) or use the COM interface to control Word.

hi guys could anyone recall how to remove duplicated values in an array like:
string asd = new string[10];
lets say the values are 1,1,1,2,3,4,5,2,1,3,2
i want to remove the duplicate to make it:
1,2,3,4,5
anyone know? any functions to remove the duplicated or do i have to create a for loop to remove them 1 by 1?

Hello,
neodeaths wrote: do i have to create a for loop to remove them 1 by 1?
Actually I would add the ones who are unique, to an other collection!
neodeaths wrote: string asd = new string[10];

One value to much I think! (Just a joke! For those who think I'm peeping somebodys question!)
But I than would create a StringCollection to add the values.
If you need it as an sring[] there is a CopyTo method which will do that!
string[] sArray = new string[10];
sArray[0] = "1";
sArray[1] = "1";
sArray[2] = "1";
sArray[3] = "2";
sArray[4] = "3";
sArray[5] = "4";
sArray[6] = "5";
sArray[7] = "2";
sArray[8] = "1";
sArray[9] = "3";
System.Collections.Specialized.StringCollection filteredCollection = new System.Collections.Specialized.StringCollection();
foreach(string s in sArray)
{
if(!filteredCollection.Contains(s))
{
filteredCollection.Add(s);
}
}
string[] sArraynew = new string[filteredCollection.Count];
filteredCollection.CopyTo(sArraynew,0);
Hope it helps!
All the best,
Martin

Here's one way:
public static string[]
clean
(
string[] Dirty
)
{
string[] result ;
System.Collections.Generic.Dictionary<string,object> temp =
new System.Collections.Generic.Dictionary<string,object> ( Dirty.Length ) ;
foreach ( string s in Dirty )
{
if ( !temp.ContainsKey ( s ) )
{
temp.Add ( s , null ) ;
}
}
result = new string [ temp.Count ] ;
temp.Keys.CopyTo ( result , 0 ) ;
return ( result ) ;
}
