create a reference to the project CC is in and use
using (namespace.to.CC myCC = new namespace.to.CC())
{
myCC.DoSomething();
}
(if CC is not disposable, leave the using()...)

i am designing a website in asp.net using visual studio2005, how to use AJAX in it to enhance website appearance
hi
download the ASPAJAXExtSetup.msi setup from
http://ajax.asp.net/[^]
install it, and now when u create a new website it will ask some more options like "asp.netAjax-Enabled website", select this option
u will find no diff between ajax enabled website and normal asp.net website
but there is a diff in web.config file, so merge this file with ur web.config file in ur appln
after this u will get some more tools in ur toolbox "Ajax Extension"
use these tools in ur appln

If ActiveWindow.View.SplitSpecial <> wdPaneNone Then<br />
ActiveWindow.Panes(2).Close<br />
End If<br />
If ActiveWindow.ActivePane.View.Type = wdNormalView Or ActiveWindow. _<br />
ActivePane.View.Type = wdOutlineView Then<br />
ActiveWindow.ActivePane.View.Type = wdPrintView<br />
End If<br />
ActiveWindow.ActivePane.View.SeekView = wdSeekCurrentPageHeader<br />
Selection.TypeText Text:="this is the header"<br />
Selection.ParagraphFormat.Alignment = wdAlignParagraphCenter<br />
If Selection.HeaderFooter.IsHeader = True Then<br />
ActiveWindow.ActivePane.View.SeekView = wdSeekCurrentPageFooter<br />
Else<br />
ActiveWindow.ActivePane.View.SeekView = wdSeekCurrentPageHeader<br />
End If<br />
Selection.TypeText Text:="this is the footer"<br />
Selection.ParagraphFormat.Alignment = wdAlignParagraphCenter<br />
ActiveWindow.ActivePane.View.SeekView = wdSeekMainDocument

Hi,
I have a html button btnBroadcast on my page on click of which i am opening a popup window. When i login i check for user access which can have a value of true and false.I store this value in a session variable and depending on whether the session value is true or false i have to make the html input button "btnBroadcast" visible or hidden.
Does anybody know how to do it.
Thanks,
riz

hum?
btnBroadcast.Visible = (bool)Session["value"]; ??
Yes. need to add "RunAt="Server" "
write runat="server" in button tag and access by button name in code behind.
after accessing that button use visible property to hide that button
God Bless you.
Always do good to others
write a java script function i.e.,
function window.onload()
{
var sessionValue = '<%=Session["sessionname"]%>';
if(sessionValue != null)
{
document.getElementById("btnBroadcast").style.visibility="hidden";
}
}

You asked this same question an hour previously in this forum and I posted a link to a discussion on the ASP.net web site
http://forums.asp.net/p/1038252/1467462.aspx#1467462[^]
If you havent done so i would suggest reading it to see if any of the scenarios match yours - most of them seem to be resolved at some point within the thread.

when the content placeholder is expanded in length, it appears behind the controls placed at the bottom of *.aspx page, i mean the coctrols dont move down, main design is in master page, other pages which rely on master page have different lengths, how to maintain different lengths og content palce holder on different pages
hi
this happens only if ur contentplaceholder in master page has positioning - absolute
so remove the positioning of all controls from ur master page as well as content page
so that their positions automatically change when size of contentplaceholder changes

Hi guys.
Something that mite be stupit but problematic to me.
I have links on my HTML, that link to asp pages but when I click on the link, I get a open-save dialog box.When I click open, it opens in Dreamweaver instead of running the page.
Did I do something wrong??

go to Controlpanel -> Add remove programs -> Set program access and Defaults -> custom -> choose default as Internet Explorer & click on ok.
if u face same problem..
go to C:\WINDOWS\inf -> right click on ie.inf -> select the "install" menu.
You will need your XP installation disk for this.
