The problem in ur code is Request.form("Submit1") returns string value....so its giving error..
and one more thing.....for submit button it should contain name attribute, when ever u click on that button the value will be passed to form

transferring to another page using Server.Transfer conserves server resources.
Does it mean that it does not tell the browser that it transfer the user to another page.I mean -
1.it does not update the history.
2.I am sending the user to another page with some information (server.transfer(abc.aspx?id=9))
the another page - having address bar - is not showing the id .is that mean the server resource conservation
or
3.There is some other meaning of server resource conservation?

Using Server.transfer we are shifting the control of the execution to another Page on the same site. so it is not server resource conservation

True, Because it won't send information to the browser that, page is redirecting. So you will be seeing the same page even though you are not standing on it. Server.Transfer() reduces HTTP requests. This helps to improve speed. More over, if you set preserverForm to true then you could be able to access all the controls and querystring on the previous page in new page.

Protected: Protected access gives a variable accessibility within their own class or a class derived from that class
i implemented it in the followiog example .
is that example right?
Class abc
Protected d As Integer = 9
End Class
Class def
Inherits abc
End Class
Class ghi
Inherits def
Private Sub f()
Dim f1 As Integer = d
End Sub
End Class

i meant that , is there any way to check that d(protected data type) is not accessible somewhere,
as protected says it is accessible in it's class and the class deived from it.

Hi friends
I need to generate .txt file.
I dynamically generate table structure for marketupdate and add this table in placeHolder.
PlaceHolder is placed in div tag.
Now I want to generate .txt file.
My code looks like
createTable(); string filename = Server.MapPath("MUContent.txt");<br />
TextWriter tw = new StreamWriter(filename);<br />
string file = divid.InnerText;<br />
tw.WriteLine(file);<br />
tw.Close();
But here I am getting error in this line
string file = divid.InnerText;
Error is :Cannot get inner content of divid because the contents are not literal.
Thanks in advance

I have no idea where the other replies got their definitions from, but I'd say the difference is entirely semantic. They all need to be fixed
Seriously, I can't percieve of a situation where a bug is not a defect. I can't imagine ever calling them 'errors', however, an error is what occurs when there is a bug.

I almost agree:
Bug is just another word for defect.
But an error is not always caused by a bug. An error can be a desired behaviour. Take a calculator and divide 100 by 0 --> Error
