myCombo.DataSource = myTable;
myCombo.DataBind();
Your combo has properties you can set for which column value to use for display and for the value member.

You want to remove them from your data source ? The most likely way is to use a button which, when clicked, removes the item.

I pass the name of the stored procedure into my function and then append the parameters the stored procedure expects.
This works fine as long as I have stored procedures which expect always the same parameters.
But now there are very few exceptions. So my question is if there is a way to check how many parameters a stored procedure is expecting before I execute it?
Public Function GetReport(ByVal StoredProc As String) As Boolean
Dim cmd As New SqlCommand(StoredProc, m_Conn)
cmd.Parameters.Add(...)
cmd.Parameters.Add(...)
Many thanks for all kind of hints

You can pass a Dictionary, where the keys are the parameter names and the values are the parameters. Otherwise, no. You can't ask how many are expected, and if you're calling a proc, you really need to know ( who cares how many it expects if you don't have values to pass through to it ? )

Hi All
I want to add richedit or richtext control in my asp.net form plz tell me how could i do it i am unable to add it
|
|

ASP.NET don't have any built in RichEdit control. You need to create one using Iframe and javascript. or you can download something like FckEditor.

I have the following requirements in EPiServer Portal. I am going through forums, EPiServer website and other search engine(Google) also. I would like to have some ideas/sample codes/website links for the following implementations.
1. Adding Comments- they should go through moderator approval and the
moderator can delete the comments also. Showing total comments and
pagination
2. Rating-5 stars display
3. User should not rate the same article again
4. Breaking a news(not the news list) into pages if it spans for more than
a page
5. Printing news
6. Related News

Hi
I struck with an application in that I have a Label which is used to filled with a column of the Table, the column contains huge text.
The Label is displaying the whole text in a single line, making the page to strech along the text
I want to cut down the Text into multiple lines and display it in the Label.
How can I implement this.
I am using DataRow to fill the Label.
Suggest me an example.

ASP.NET will render Label control to normal HTML span. So you can give a HTML Line break ( <br /> ) to break the line.

Use Environment.NewLine to introduce a line break.
