Yes, if you add properties to a server control and the server does not recognise them, they get passed through to the client verbatim.

|

If you are planning to learn only webprogramming, then first of all you need to learn HTML, Javascript. Then go for server side programming. Are you familiar with OOPS concepts ?
|
|
|
|
|
First u must understand the basic web programming, my suggestion u must know about the HTML First and Javascript..And if u already simmilar with the HTML and Javascript Syntax, u can start build your first web application..After that u can learn about web programming using PHP, ASP.Net, and more..
Good Luck

hello imaran,
Use ExecuteScalar() method so that insert and retrieve the value from the database.
ok byeee

hi,
if u r using the sqlserver , there is one
after ur insert query u can use @@identity
with this u will get the last inserted identity value.
for ex:
declare @lastid int output
insert into temp (..)
set @lastid =@@identity
remember it will return the value of last inserted identity column.

No, I meant as a clickety like this: http://www.asp.net[^]
It is rather proper to have url's in link form so people don't have to take the extra steps copying/pasting/etc when going to the url if they want to. All you have to do is highlight the url and hit the link guy on the by the smileys.
