Dear all,
i need to send fax from my asp.net page, i am using c#dotnet.
Can any body have idea regarding this.
thanks in advance,
Eswar.

You can't send fax with ASP.NET just like that. You need to have some faxing service available (3rd party) that has some SDK so that you can connect to it using your .NET code.

It would be nice to have some code from your sitemap file to start with.

We could not judge what is your problem without seeing your code?
So please paste the code what you have did for the site map.
SSK.

These are the entries in web.sitemap.
/*
<siteMap xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/AspNet/SiteMap-File-1.0" >
<siteMapNode url="../Webpages/Sample.aspx" title="Sample" description="">
<siteMapNode url="../Webpages/Sample1.aspx" title="Sample1" description="">
<siteMapNode url="../Webpages/Sample2.aspx" title="Sample2" description=""/>
</siteMapNode>
</siteMapNode>
</siteMap>*/
I have an main page named sample. From which I navigate to Sample1 and then from Sample1 I navigate to Sample2.
Sample >> Sample1 >> Sample2. This is the breadcrumb expected.
Note: Sample, Sample1, Sample2 are aspx pages placed inside folder named Webpages.
In the aspx page of Sample2 i have included the following code.
<asp:sitemappath id="SiteMapPath2" runat="server" />

Wake up sunshine youve got an extra equals sign in there
That's probably why.
siteMapNode url="="../Webpages
Please rate this solution as spooner. Thanks
Sorry.. That was an printing mistake. I dont have that equals sign in my original code.
Sorry try removing the ../
If i'm right it works from the root so you should probably put...
<br />
siteMapNode url="Webpages/Sample2.aspx<br />
I prefer to be explicit and use the full "~/foo/bar.aspx" paths.
Sounds like you are kinda shoehorning the sitemap framework into something its not really designed for, like a wizard? If it needs a lot of hacking with .sitemap files you might be better off using the static methods on the System.Web.Sitemap object to programatically provide what you want to appear.
What can you do using the static model. Can you provide an example? Thanks

Thank you all who replied to my query. I will try out and let u know if it works.

on calling crystal reports it asks for database password
i tried a code ..but it is giving error
my code is:
ReportDocument rd = new ReportDocument();
rd.Load("collapsed_building_date");
DataSet ds= new DataSet();
rd.SetDataSource(ds.Tables("crmie_mgmt"));
rd.SetDataSource(ds.Tables("collapsed_building"));
crystalReportViewer1.ReportSource = rd;
and error is:
'System.Data.DataSet.Tables' is a 'property' but is used like a 'method'
Property or indexer 'System.Data.DataSet.Tables' cannot be assigned to -- it is read only
anybody can help me?
software student

Try using square brackets instead
rd.SetDataSource(ds.Tables[crmie_mgmt"]);
now exception is handled that load report failed
software student
Load report failed can occur for a variety of reasons...
Try assigning the datasource before loading the reportdocument
now exception is invalid report file path

I'm using a Detailsview control to display individual records.
If I want to change a textfield to a combobox for example, do I need to switch to a Formview control?
