I have 4 articles with 1 email address. 2 articles with another. Problem none of the email address work. I thought that the email address is automatically updated based on the user id. It looks like it is not happening that way. Just a minor problem as everyone who posts a comments on the articles gets a returned mail.

If you have the time, put together a list of URLs of your articles and the email addresses you want to use. I recently did a full update of all articles to clean up things like this but some may have slipped through the cracks. I'm working on a way to make this automatic so that you can change all details from your profile.

What about a soapbox-like message board intended different local languages. Like German, Spanish, Portuguese, Indian, French*... seem to be the most common. (For fairness we would need one in every language)
Pro: you can banter away in the lang of your choice, and people that are not that fluid in English could also post their questions there. It would also be nice for internationals to "look into" different languages. Might be this even gives some investors certain boni (like advertizing localized versions or locale-specific products in the language areas)
Contra: The Lounge might loose a bit
I think it should run under "soapbox" policy since it would be to mouch to monitor and mod all the lang boards.

* I'm not aware of many french people dwelling here, however they might be annoyed by being left out. Admittedly, if they are stereotypical french they will probably be annoyed by not being mentioned first

Heheh. well being able to speak enhlish is often quite useful zhoujon. But then it's not a hard and fast requirement. I bet no englisher would ever ever ever understand a sentence in malayalam except maybe colin davies who's sorta different when it comes to languages!

I agree. The first thing that'd happen if we got multi-lingual boards would be someone writing a proggy to suck them through the fish and we'd be right back where we started, except now instead of non-english speakers doing the bad translations, it'd be babel.
Oh, and sooner or later someone would try to post in a language they didn't know, using babel to translate, and it'd get all messed up, so while they intended to post "The answer to your question on how to kill a process is to thunk into native code" but it'd come across as "You question my answer process? I'm gonna thunk you 'till iv'e killed your native head!". And then all hell would break loose. (because it was a programming question).
