hello prachishah!
Though you didnot specify your platform, plz find below my suggestion:-
Use target property of link in navigation frame and set another frame's name as a target of link.
I think it will solve your purpose
Any systematic work reflects its significance for a long time. So let's discuss the best...

I created 2 textboxes, A, and B, for example. And what I want is whenever I type the dot (.) character (like 192.168...), the focus will automatically jump from textbox A to B.
I wrote a piece of code:
<br />
function ipJump(textbox)<br />
{<br />
var KeyID = (window.event) ? event.keyCode : e.keyCode; <br />
if(KeyID==190)<br />
{<br />
if(textbox.name=="txtA")<br />
{<br />
document.getElementById("txtB").focus();<br />
........<br />
This code obviously works, except the character dot (.) I just typed unexpectedly appears inside the textbox B.
How to make it jumps from A to B without filling anything?

return false from the method.

function ipJump(textbox)
{
var e = (window.event) ? event: e;
var KeyID = e.keyCode;
if(KeyID==190)
{
if(textbox.name=="txtA")
{
document.getElementById("txtB").focus();
e.keyCode = 0;

you can replace the text inside the first textbox when the user clicks the dot. delete(replace text) the last character then jump to the next textbox.

make shure that the path is given as http://servername/folder/page or
/folder/page so that the page is properly loaded ...
This has to be given in the source field of the frame tag that you are using on the home page.
hope this will solve your problem..

Finding HTML elements/tags - vertical, horizontal positions X,Y by JS/VBS?
There is a Visual Basic 6 application with WebBrowser in it.
This application is about statistical information on what html tag was loaded, where it is being located - it's position X,Y
And one of the problems is I don't know how to find out vertical Y and horizontal X positions of iframes, frames, div tags, anchor href links and so on the loaded web page relatively to the screen and to the loaded html webpage...
Any ideas on how to find out X,Y positions?

I never had the requirement to do such a thing so I am only talking theoretically. So, take my comments with a grain of salt.
First of all, I am not sure that all tags have physical x-y coordinates. Block elements such as DIV and IMG may have coordinates but inline elements such as SPAN are sequentially relative to the parent element. Also, block elements can also be positioned sequentially relative to their parent. Furthermore, the default behavior of a element is to be positioned sequentially within its parent. If it is possible to find the x-y coordinate of an element, you may need to calculate the x-y coordinates of its ancestors to derive its location. However, since an element can be on another plane or positioned absolutely, determining the position of an element can be quite complicated.

The script I am using is wanting to read the whole file and not 1 line at a time. Can someone please help here is the code I am using and it will not hold onto one donor # at a time. I put a response.write code in to see what was happening and it is reading the whole file as one line. I am trying to have a member enter their number when they click submit it will go to my text file see if it is there and return to the page. If it is they will receive a 10% discount if not they will pay regular price.

You need to jump out of the loop if you find a match (Exit Do after valdiscount = "Y") or else, of course, it just carries on reading til the end...

How was the text file created? What happens when you open the file using Notepad? Most Windows text files use CR+LF characters to identify each end-of-line.
If it insists in reading the entire file then perhaps use the Split() function within your program to split each line into individual array elements.

I am using RemoteScripting in my asp page. Which is including the rs.htm file and also calling RSEnableRemoteScripting("PATH"). When I load my asp page the entire page shifts a certain amount to the bottom leaving a gap on top of the page. When I removed the call to RSEnableRemoteScripting the page loads fine. How to resolve this without removing RemoteScripting. Thanks!

Your call to RSEnableRemoteScripting should the first thing you do after opening the HTML body tag?

That is exactly where I have it and I still get the gap at the top of my page. Anything else I could try??

Hi,
I have a WebPartPage with only one webpart. This webpart contains a ascx control which hosts a ajax enabled grid (very much of javscript).
The first load of this page (also if I load a other sharepoint page before) is very slow with the internet explorer (v6). The IE freezes for 2-3 minutes and then it displays the page. This effect only appears if you load the page the first time or clear the browser cache and load it again. With mozilla or opera it's fast.
Please help
