Hi, I'm using Edit,update,cancel command button to edit a row in gridview. the row updating event is being fired. but the rowupdated event is not being fired. Can anybody help me out. i want to cancell edit mode in row edit mode in row updated event.

i m working in asp.net2.0 version and i m generating gridview dynamically, in which i m using br tag of html but it is not working.it is working with response.write .

Br tag is for break it will work if it is in html content <br/>
by hte way where are you adding that tag ? that's the point can you post the code ?

some time we serialize a class data to file system and again we deserialize again.instead of file system if we want to serialize class data to sql server table and deserialize again then how can i do it........anybody can help me with sample code in detail.plzz help

XSD Files contains the XML Schema Representation of Tables. In other word we can call them as Strongly-Typed Dataset coz XSD provides type safe operation and all the methods, properties, events are defined and also it provides an excellent way to access the tables and columns using the names. In N-Tire .NET applications these XSD's are used to pass Data between the Layers. We can keep all the DataDefinition of the Database Tables in the XSD Files.

i made a multiline tooltip that appears when the mouse over a link
this tooltip is a div element , i have multiple links and i need to set the text of the div element
according to the link under the mouse which means that i must change the div text dinamically

Yes make that div tag runat server and give proper id
Now you can access that div at server side can do anything with it at runtime ...
But why are you using div tag for tool tip? use anchor tag and make run at server or you have asp.net Hyperlink control in that you have tool tip property

i need multiline tooltip that can contain table
so i used the div element

the control of the apperance of the div element is by javascript function that showa and hide the div element
depending on mouse position, i need to change the text of the div element using the javascript function not in the run time
can you help me?

you can change it in javascript first see the source code of your page and check which is the property of div tag for tool tip make such changes in div by
document.getElementById('DivtagId').PrpertyName='New tool tip';
Not sure but check it will work i think
