• Configure the ASP.NET worker process to run under the SYSTEM account in the <processModel>section of the Machine.config file.
• For security reasons, Microsoft recommends that you enable impersonation on your ASP.NET application. This method works if the impersonated user has necessary permissions to the computer and the database that you are accessing.
• Grant read and write permissions for the "Everyone" group on the database and the database folder. This method is not safe; therefore, Microsoft does not recommend this method.

This error comes due to insufficient access rights.
I got the following text from a site. May be this can help you...
You need to grant NTFS write permissions on your database file (.mdb) to a special user account your web scripts run on. The account is usually called Internet Guest Account (IUSR_<machinename>). To grant permissions right-click database file, choose Properties and Security tab (you need to disable Windows XP simplified security if you don't see it). Select or lookup IUSR account and choose read and write permissions (or modify permission to select both).

I'm stuck with a problem just before deliverying the work for UAT Testing. I tried but couldn't sort out.
problem Description: There are 2 Div tags In an aspx page. say Div1 and Div2. Both the Div tags contain a set of Server controls inclucding Validation controls. Based on the selection of a dropdownlist in Div1- the Div2 is made visible. Controls inside the Div1 are validated and error messages are prompted properly on the click of Save Button. But the Validation controls inside the Div2 are not working. I'm using ASP.NET 1.1 and Javascript.
Anybody has got any Idea how to resolve this...
And also I would like the know the difference between these two Javascript statements.
div1.style.display="inline"; <br />
div1.style.display="block";

J O N wrote: the Validation controls inside the Div2 are not working
This problem was due to the Javascript Function which was called on the Click of Save Button that does the validation for DIV1 then returns true. The return statement bypasses the call to Page_ClientValidate() function which explicitly skiped the DIV2 validation.
I Included these statements in the end of Javascript function to resolve the problem.
if (typeof(Page_ClientValidate) == 'function') <br />
Page_ClientValidate();<br />
return true;
Now it validates the controls inside Both Div1 and Div2.

It more depends upon your personal choice. If you want to simply display data you must use tables and if you want to easily handle edit/delete operations you should use Data grid. Using data grid will make your life easy while sorting and performing other SQL related tasks.

Datagrid is better option.
Generally in shopping sites, different options like gridview, listview etc vailable, it depends on ur requirement.
u can check in amazon, rediffshopping, ebay, timeshopping.

Hi,
The Timeout property specifies the time-out period assigned to the Session object for the application, in minutes. If the user does not refresh or request a page within the time-out period, the session ends.
Session.Timeout [=nMinutes]

Hi,
First check the timeout property of session,
if it exceeds 5mins then call
Session.Abondon();
Naik M

Set session time out as 5 minutes. Set the session timeout tag in config and it will be applicable for whole application
<sessionstate
="" mode="InProc" stateconnectionstring="tcpip=127.0.0.1:42424" sqlconnectionstring="data
source=127.0.0.1;Trusted_Connection=yes" cookieless="false" timeout="5">
