Why are you even using this code?? The menu already pops up where you right-click the form, so long as the form's ContextMenu property is set to the ContextMenuStrip you want it to show.

I want to display the popup menu for the runtime contol of textbox , but it is showing both the predefined and custom defined menus . Predefined is showing at the mouse click . How to Disable this one and set the Custom defined popup menu for runtime controls . I am getting for Label . etc Only this problem is for combo box and textbox generated at runtime only using contextmenustrip in vs2005

OK, the answer doesn't change. Your code still has to set the ContextMenu property of the TextBox you create, just like any other property on it like Size and Location. All you have to do is assign it the menu object you created.

Hi ,
How i can cut ,copy ,paste a runtime control . I Searched the net but not get the desired results .For example (It is the functionality of VS2005)

At runtime?? You have to implement this entire functionality yourself, using a generic Control object. Copy would set the your Control object ot the control being Copy/Cut, paste would Add this Control object to whatever container's Controls collection.

Presently i am using contextmenustrip which is a control for showing menus when user rt clicks the mouse . I am not getting the popup at the user clicked position. i used like this inthe ctrl_mouseDown or
RtClickPropertiesStrip.Show(New Point(ihorizontal, ivertical), ToolStripDropDownDirection.BelowRight)
But of NO USE and while clicking on TExtbox it is showing their default properties . i have to overwrite those predefined and want to show custom defined popup .

You set the ContextMenu property of the Form to your menu. This make the menu pop up for the entire form, BUT NOT FOR THE CONTROLS ON THE FORM! You have to set the ContextMenu property on any controls on the form, like your TextBox, where you want this same menu to appear. If you want the same menu to appear for all of the controls, you'll have to set the ContextMenu property of ALL the controls on the form to your context menu.

It's not supported by the old DataGrid, or by the DataGridView controls. You'd have to add this yourself, either by using cleverly placed and defined label controls above the DGV, possibly in your own UserControl, or by creating your own version of the DGV control and adding this functionality to the existing control using custom properties and painting code.

Yes it is possible, for this you will need to set image property of ToolStripMenuItem object.
Following is a code snippet showing this behavior-
----------------------------------------
Dim NewItem As New ToolStripMenuItem
NewItem.Text = "New Item"
NewItem.Image = Image.FromFile("C:\img11.jpg")
Me.OpenToolStripMenuItem.DropDownItems.Add(NewItem)
------------------------------------------
I hope this helps .

If you are using Visual Studio 2005, you should have MenuStrip item in Toolbox, which is a ToolStripMenuItem object.
However it seems that you are using Visual Studio 2003 and .Net framework 1.x.
In this case you are correct we do not have any direct way to add image into the menu item, because any Image or Icon property has not been provided for the MainMenu.
However you may still have an image in menu by drawing whole menu item using custom code.
For this you will need to first set OwnerDraw property of MainMenu control to True.
This allows you to take control of control rendering. Then under DrawItem event you may have your custom code for drawing.
You may check following article which provides good information about the whole process-
http://www.codeproject.com/cs/menu/menuimage.asp
I hope this helps .

Yes, it's possible. How, is too broad a question to answer in a forum reply. Consider working out what the bits are you need to do, such as network communication, and then research those.

You mean text ? Doesn't Windows just support that for certain locales ?

IT's for unmanaged apps, so not for VB.NET. It's not going to substitute for writing good code in the first place.
