eg i want to add text box ,for that HTML is best or Server ctrl is best

If one was better than the other in all cases, we wouldn't have them both.
server controls are useful where you want the framework to remember the value of a control when a postback occurs ( as in, when someone clicks a button, etc )

I installed enterprise libray 2.0.
for example
i open cache block.it will show two categgory
1.cache application block(Nunit tests)
2.cache application block(VSTS tests)
what is Nunit test and VSTS test

A unit test is a pretty simple thng, I doubt either framework is 'better'. NUnit is free, VSTS costs about $20,000 ( it does a lot more than just unit tests ). NUnit is probably also more widely accepted, it's sure older.

Hi,
Does anyone know how can i embbed the content of my aspx web page (containing data in various controls like datagrid, panels... created dynamically) into an email. I have a little idea of it that i need to render the content into html and then can send it... though not a very clear picture. I have used asp.net ( with C#) many a times to send emails but i want to embed a web form now as the my web page is vast... Please show the way through this?
I need this urgently, Please advcie ASAP

I have created mainProject in Webapplication using VB.Net.Created another project i.e Project2 under that solution.This is For accesing Database we have created the class file.Main Project created the object to access the class.It's working fine
But if u load the whole project in another machine,it's not accessing the class.If u debug,it's not accessing the class.we gave Reference and also created the object in the web page to access the class.
Can anyone help me,regarding this problem.
My code is, GetList is a function of the class clssearch.
Imports project2
Private obj1 as clssearch
Dim ResDT as DataTable
ResDT = obj1.GetList() 'Here it's not accessing the function.In the debug mode also,it's not
accesiing class.So ResultDT is nothing

Again take the reference of your project (which access the database)
and rebuild the solution

Please make sure the class name in this way
dim obj as project2.yourclassname
Also make sure the access specifire of class, function & property etc which yoy want to access.

I need to create a new directory that will be named by reading from a form, and copy files and folders from _root to that new directory. is this possible in ASP.NET, im using shared hosting that allows me to adjust the privileges. I am very new to ASP. I know PHP, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

You need to copy files from the client to the server, from the server to the client, or all on the server ?

Im Trying to copy from server to the same server. basically just copying the root directory to a sub-directory. But the sub directory has to be named after what a admin puts in the html form

Dear All,
I have implemented a crystal report on VS2003 and i have 2 problems,
First, i donno how to actvate a print button "it used to be there in VS2005" the second problem is that there is about 300 blank pixels on the left of the report so whe i use the standard print "from the explorer" the page is split into 2 pages (horizontally). U use landscape paper...
Any clues of how i can solve this?

convert your ReportDocument to pdf file and show pdf file in browser.

You need to build bitmaps on the server, then show them in your page. There are numerous commercial and free components for creating images of graphs.
