Yes, you can detect it in javascript, and thanks to AJAX, you're able to notify the server when it occurs.

No, you can't detect if the window is being closed.
What you can do is to use the onunload event to detect when the user leaves the page. This is triggered when the window is closed, when the user navigates elsewhere and when the user enters an url directly. You have to keep track of all navigation on the page to be able to determine if the user is navigating to a different page or not. You can't, howerer, determine if the window is being closed or if the user entered an url directly to leave the page.

if(window.confirm('Want to close?'))
{
window.close();
return true;
}
else
{
return false;

First of all this is not valid code.You have to add attribute on Every postpack.
Second thing If you want to close popup window without any message , You can use window.close(); ,But If You want to close parent window then browser will fire alert message.so I thing you cant close parent window without confirmation message.

If It containg any number of tables, then
It will occupy more bandwidth and server memory while
the in the running mode, when number of user more then 10000.
So, I think there should be a limit. But I dont know it !!
Thanks.

Abhi

Memory might me a limit. When more number of objects came into memory, it will run out of memory and server will die.

But why would you be adding a table per user to a single dataset??

i wanted to convert the string to type in the following situation
cmd.Parameters.AddWithValue("@a1", DbType.Decimal).Value = "12";
here in place of DbType.Decimal i want to write t
the following syntax has an error.
DbType t;
t = (DbType)"DbType.Decimal";
please help.

What makes you think you can cast a string to type DbType ? It seems obvious to me that what you want is DbType t = DbType.Decimal. Unless you're saying the string could vary ? In that case, you want Enum.Parse.

Why would we have any sample code for using an editor which you've not even named ?

...and answer the same question you posted two days ago?
What is the editor? I only ask as I am after a decent 'free(ish)' wysiwig. Needs to be very light, not overloaded with buttons etc. Just allows the user to bold , underline, italic and size text.

Hi,
Try it out with these modifications...
function abc()<br />
{<br />
document.getElementById('Button2').disabled=true;<br />
return false;<br />
}<br />
if (!Page.IsPostBack)<br />
{<br />
this.Button1.Attributes.Add("onclick", " return abc();");<br />
}<br />

Hi there,
Been searching for this tool since few months back without luck. Basically the tool will show list of holidays(in rows) for each country (in column)for the entire year i.e. 365/366 rows with n-number of columns for country.
There will be option to view previous / future year's holiday too.
Maintenance wise, each country 'owner' can login into the page and update the holiday list under their care respectively. Web administrator will able to add/edit the list of countries and assign new user for these countries.
Sounds pretty much simple and direct but hard to find one on the web. Anyone saw such tool available?
Thanks.
Regards,
Darren Lam
