jmavn wrote: I want to know what are differences between ASP.NET 2.0 AJAX Extensions and ASP.Net Atlas
I think ATLAS is the former code name of ASP.NET AJAX. ASP.NET AJAX extensions are server extensions which provides support for AjaxControlToolkit controls.
jmavn wrote: Which one is latest (ASP.Net 2.0 AJAX Extensions 1.0 or ASP.NET Atlas July 2006 CTP)
ATLAS libraries are obsolete. You can go with AJAX extensions and AJAX toolkit library

According to me you can not bind it but you can create mannually. Please go through this URL http://www.15seconds.com/issue/041117.htm or find it on Google.

Hi all,
My self Tarun Dudhatra. I am working as a web developer. In my company I am developing one application some what like online antakshari. In that I want to record the sound for participant and I dont know any thing about how to record the sound in asp.net 2.0(C#). If anybody know or have some idea pls tell me.
Thanks a lot.
|
|
|
|
|
To record sound, you need to write an applet that runs on the client side and uploads/captures the voice. Unless Windows Media Player can be made to do it, embedded in the page. There will be no ASP.NET code involved.

How about asking users to record their voice by sound recorder program and upload it for you?
don't laugh i'm serious!!

To do that, you would write it in javascript to run on the client.

Hi friends
I want show an image that sent from a webcam through internet. If it was windows form, I used picturebox. But in web for, what I can do?
|
|
|
|
|
You need to use an img tag and update the image either via AJAX or by making the page auto refresh.
Unless you can point to a stream that you can connect to with windows media player.

Hi all,
i want to erase the textbox values when user presses browser's back button.
i have tried erasing the values before redirecting the page but its not working ..
Can anybody guide me how to achieve this......

One way is to not store values in viewstate at all, and just getting them from the URL. How are they populated now, is it just viewstate ?

What error are you getting?
The current situation is that you can access "a.html" under this virtual directory "http://localhost/web/learning/reportdesign/a.html" but you can't access your project.
Where is your project? is it under "http://localhost/web/learning/reportdesign/"?
Try to open the project file (e.g: ".csprj") not solution file. and check the path in your project file...

You should probably contact with their support.... As this control is not the standard controls of .NET framework, we all here might not have any experience in using that control.

How to convert datagrid in excel format in asp.net.
|
|
|
|
|
What do you want to do ? You can write the contents of a datagrid to an Excel file on the server end using office interop. You can also send that Excel file to the client if you want to.

i m developing web application in which i m sending and receiving sms through mobile connected with a cable. but sms is not receiving.

You've asked this three times now. You need to talk to the people who provide you with an API for SMS sending/recieving. I don't really see how you can connect to a mobile with a cable, and then run it as a web app, given as your code will run on the server, and the phone will be on the client end.

my dear you want to recive sms through internet so u can use some protocoles
like
http,shttp,or smpp
in http you can connect to the smsc (mobile company)and they send to u they message in query string and from your side you can catch them by httplistner
and her is some code to help u

The synchronous model is appropriate if your application should block while waiting for a client request

Using the synchronous model

The method returns an HttpListenerContext object to you for processing when one occurs.

In the more complex asynchronous model, your application does not block while

Within that method
call the EndGetContext method to obtain the request, process it, and respond.
