First of all, this forum is for people to submit article ideas. You would do better to ask this question in one of the programming forums, perhaps even the general discussion forum, or on the NAnt mailing list.
That being said, you haven't really explained what the problem is. Saying "the compiler.exe is not working properly" doesn't really provide any detail for someone to be able to provide an answer. From what I can remember, there is no "compiler.exe" in NAnt. You need to download the NAnt binaries, extract them to a folder (and make sure that folder is in your path or you will need to specify the full path to the Nant executable) and then write your NAnt script (which should be in the same folder as the solution). NAnt itself is pretty well documented and provides some good samples, so you should be able find the syntax and tasks needed.

This forum is for article requests and ideas. Not questions about how the boards operate.
As to your question - if the member has a blog, then the page will scroll to that.

Hi!
It would be of great help if there's an article or two on Client(s)-Server Application Development using dotnet (LAN Applications)

The FileSystemWatcher class can only monitor local drives or network mappable drives. It cannot be used to monitor a remote FTP server.

Even though you did get an answer, you really should be asking in one of the programming forums, not this one. This is so people can submit ideas for articles.

can anybody tell me,
what are the operating systems which i can use for a server system and on which basis the configuration of the server system can be decided? and what is the typical configuration of any server system?
with regards

You'd have better luck asking in one of the other forums, possibly the general discussion or operating systems, not this one. This is so people can submit ideas for articles.
That being said, you can realistically use almost any of the Windows versions as a server but you are better off sticking with one of the Server versions (like Windows Server 2003). There really isn't a typical configuration as it depends on what the server is being used for.

dear friends,
Most of you may be knowing the popular game SuDoKu,
i have made an application that frames the SuDoKu puzzles and solves the new puzzles also.
it also helps the user to analyse how to solve it.
i want to share the application, article and its source code at codeproject.com.
kindly any body suggest me as to where, i mean, appropriate section and sub section, i can post my article?
thanks.

Possibly here[^]. You haven't really shared enough other information, such as language, etc... for me to take anything other than an educated guess.

where to start
Why did you post again within minutes of your last post?
"Pleasr help me!" is not a suitable subject line ... a subject is supposed to be something descriptive so that people with the relivent skills can locate your post easily and help you. Everyone on here needs help :P If everyone put a subject like "Please help me" then theres not much point in having subjects is there

specified by who? you? me? your users? that guy over there?
What language do you want to use? what platform do you want to develop on? what experience do you have? have you actually tried to do anything yourself or are you just expecting us to do your work?

EDIT: And I almost forgot ... this isn't even the right forum, this forum is for putting forward ideas for articles, not for requesting help with programming.

Oh wow. A masterful display of mockage - I wish that I'd posted that. It's a shame that I can't award you a 50 for such an excellent post.

lol thank you ... I think it's more to do with the material I had to work with rather than me
That damn post just had so much wrong with it :S Raymond Chen has it right when he says alot of people must think you have psychic powers when posting a question. I don't quite understand how they don't realise that vital information is missing when they hit Post Message.

OK - you do know that you can modify your other post don't you? There's a cunning little link called Modify that might just help you.
Put a panel on your dialog and place the edit controls on the panel. Set the scroll properties on the panel. That's it - simple isn't it? BTW - please don't put religious references in to your posts. This really isn't the place for it; my belief system may or may not be compatable with yours, so please don't try to impinge.

That's not likely with a level of technical display like this.

I was thinking the same thing, but whilst I was in the mood for mocking I couldn't think of a good way to say what you said in a serious mannor.

If you can't work out how to place some edit controls (have you tried MSDN, Google, etc) then you've got no chance of working for Microsoft.

That's not the reason to want to go and work for Microsoft. The real reason is to want to make applications that the world will use.
