I have a grid view and I am binding the values from the database in a TemplateField code is as below:
<itemtemplate>
<asp:datalist id="DataList5" runat="server"
="" <itemtemplate="">
<asp:label id="Label1" runat="server" skinid="GridLabels"
="" text="<%# DataBinder.Eval(Container.DataItem, "Flag") %>">
The "Flag" contains only one value either Yes or No, but there are mulitiple values
like
Yes
Yes
Yes
Using the above code it displayes all the "Yes".
I want to only display One Value and i.e Yes and not multiple values
Any suggestions

Pavas

Hi all,
We have crystal server version 11.5 and reports are published on this server.
The web based application using VS2005 accessess the crystal server and generates PDF and stores
in the appropriate folder in the C:\ of the application server.
when the website application is published, the PDF is not generated and
no file is saved in the appropriate file location of the published folder. Hence after deployment (publishing of the website)
the pdf is not dispalyed.
what could be the reason for the pdf not getting generated and stored in the appropriate location when it is accessed from a published folder, but works correctly from the solution file?

Hi,
I have a gridview which contain dropdownlist in every row. And there is a Save button in that page. I want to save the dropdownlist's value on clicking on the save button. But I am getting an error "Object reference not set to an instance of an object".
Please look at the code I am using:
foreach (GridViewRow rec in this.gvsqldesc.Controls[0].Controls)
{
DropDownList ddlval = new DropDownList();
ddlval = (DropDownList)rec.FindControl("ddlvalidation");
string str = ddlval.SelectedItem.Text;
}
Thanks & Regards

Try something like this:
foreach (GridViewRow rec in this.gvsqldesc.Rows)
{
string str = (DropDownList)rec.FindControl("ddlvalidation").SelectedItem.Text;
}
Here am assuming that the name of you gridview is 'gvsqldesc'.
All the Best.

Hi all,
i have developed my application using Asp.Net2.0 and Sql Server2005..
my application is running successfully in my local machine, but when i upload my application to the server i am getting the following error...
Server Error in '/Modules' Application.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Invalid value for key 'attachdbfilename'.
Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code.
Exception Details: System.ArgumentException: Invalid value for key 'attachdbfilename'.
Source Error:
The source code that generated this unhandled exception can only be shown when compiled in debug mode. To enable this, please follow one of the below steps, then request the URL:
1. Add a "Debug=true" directive at the top of the file that generated the error. Example:
<%@ Page Language="C#" Debug="true" %>
or:
2) Add the following section to the configuration file of your application:
<configuration>
<system.web>
<compilation debug="true">
Note that this second technique will cause all files within a given application to be compiled in debug mode. The first technique will cause only that particular file to be compiled in debug mode.
Important: Running applications in debug mode does incur a memory/performance overhead. You should make sure that an application has debugging disabled before deploying into production scenario.

You can set a timer in javascript. That's the only way to do anything dynamic in a web page, as that's all that runs on the client.

You'd probably just use a div or somethng, so it's not messy. Use document.getElementById to find your div, and set it's text. This all happens in javascript.
