SSL / Do not save encrypted pages to disk<br />
Can't view source at a site using the HTTPS protocol? Look in Tools > Internet Options > Advanced tab > Security section, and look for the option Do not save encrypted pages to disk. When checked off, this option will intentionally disable View Source for SSL-secured content.

Hello,
I apologise if posting this here isnt allowed but im running out of time and options.
The project is simple.
I need a program that can update 2 tables in an Access Database from 2 CSV files.
The CSV files are uploaded nightly and then I will have this program scheduled to run
immediately after on the webserver.
If you can do this relatively quickly theres an easy $80 in it which i can arrange through paypal.
The job has been sorted.

I am trying to generate a Word document for an ASP.Net application -- all users will have Word 2003.
I created a simple document in Word (Simple.doc).
Then, I used an XML Schema found in Simple.xsd and placed a couple of XML placeholders in the document.
I saved it as Simple.XML.
Downloaded and ran wml2xslt to create simple.xslt.
However, I am a little stuck as to how to get the data from my application into xml using this xslt file. Every example I can find seems to assume all data will be coming from a SQL database or databound web/win forms.
I would like to do something like:
Swap("xmlDataElementName", myObject1.ToString());
Is this doable; any help is greatly appreciated.

You could use the XmlSerializer[^] class to create an XML representation of your object at runtime.

Hi,
When using the HTML Table with 3 rows and 3 columns, is there a way wherein I can change the cell-right border color on the first row? The background color of the firstrow is gray, is there a way to change the cell-right border into gray color also?
Or there a way to hide the cell border of the row specifically without merging the cells?

Could you use the "border-right[^]" CSS style for both of these problems?

Hi all,
We have crystal server version 11.5 and reports are published on this server.
The web based application using VS2005 accessess the crystal server and generates PDF and stores
in the appropriate folder in the C:\ of the application server.
when the website application is published, the PDF is not generated and
no file is saved in the appropriate file location of the published folder. Hence after deployment (publishing of the website)
the pdf is not dispalyed.
what could be the reason for the pdf not getting generated and stored in the appropriate location when it is accessed from a published folder, but works correctly from the solution file?

Hi,
I am having a problem in javascript, im trying to implement autocomplete on a textbox named "txtAddress". i found a JS file from net which does all processing of autocomplete using AJAX.
following code in my script tag gives error:
var txt=document.getElementById("txtAddress").value;
or
var txt=document.getElementById("txtAddress").text;
I get the error
document.getElementById(txtid) has no properties
When I try
var txt=document.getElementById("txtAddress");
txt gets the null value.
I am new to javascript and dont know much about it, kindly tell me what i am missing here.
Thanks in advance...

You're missing the bit where you need a text input with an Id of txtAddress. It doesn't exist, and so the code won't work.

View the source of the page itself. For example, if this is an ASP.NET server control, the Id is autogenerated for the client side and is not what you see in your code.

It's about parentesis more than likely - try the following:
<br />
var txt=(document.getElementById("txtAddress")).value;<br />
<br /> "Knock me down, I'll get straight back up again, I'll come back stronger than a powered up pacman"

Actually very much less than likely. The extra parentheses are completely superflous.

I think this is the right syntax
var txt=(document.getElementById("txtAddress").value);

thanks for the reply, any sample code that i can use in asp.net code behind vb.net, just to close the browser because my problem is that IE7 has the capability of multi tab on one browser when if i login on one page and logoff that page then use the URL to navigate that page again, im already login to that page again without passing thru the login page

There is no level on which VB.NET can close the browser. The code you want, if it exists, will be javascript, all VB.NET can do, is to emit the code into your page.
