In this authentication mode, IIS supplies windows user credentials to ASP.NET. ASP.NET can validate this and allow the access. This mode is useful for intranet applications.
Hope this helps

i had made one integer type collection editor in web control library project.
the collection gets displayed properly at design time and i am able to add and remove items also but my problem is that value entered at design time does not effect the control at runtime.

I think you need to use some attributes to persist the collection data. After adding the items through collection editor, are you able to see it again when you click on the collection editor ? If yes there won't be any other problem.

values persist in the collection but do not get reflected at runtime.
my code for property is:
List<double> m_SectionValue = new List<double>(new double[] { 100, 150, 200, 300});
[System.ComponentModel.Browsable(true),
System.ComponentModel.Category("Funnel"),
System.ComponentModel.Description("The Value of each Section.")]
[DesignerSerializationVisibility(DesignerSerializationVisibility.Content)]
[PersistenceMode(PersistenceMode.Attribute)]
public List<double> StandardValue
{
get { return m_SectionValue; }
set { m_SectionValue = value; }
}

Try changing this to
PersistenceMode.InnerDefaultProperty

i tried every mode of [PersistenceMode] but its not working with this.

Hi ,
I have created win32 events using kernel32.dll in webforms.It is working fine in the local system.But when i am hosting in the Server i am unable to create the events.Can anyone help me in this regard.

This is working precisely because your client and server are the same machine. It won't work otherwise.

For some reason, it tried to do this...
for A.cs
<br />
using ...<br />
public abstract class A : System.Web.UI.UserControl<br />
{<br />
<pre>
}<br />
for B.ascx.cs
<br />
using ...<br />
public partial class B : A<br />
{<br />
<pre>
}<br />
I run it and there is an error ....
Make sure that the class defined in this code file matches the 'inherits' attribute, and that it extends the correct base class (e.g. Page or UserControl).
plz help, thank =)

Check the 'inherits' attribute at the top of the ascx, make sure it specifies the correct class, including namespace, that you're using.

hi sheena,
The problem you are having above is that the "/supplyweb" directory is not marked as an application, yet the \bin directory containing your assemblies is probably contained underneath it. As such, ASP.NET isn't looking for your assembly in the right place -- instead it is looking for it in the \bin directory underneath the root site/application on your system (note how the error message above starts with the text "Server Error in '/' Application").
To fix this, you should go into the IIS admin tool, right click on the /supplyweb directory and pull up its properties. You'll then want to make it as an application within IIS (by clicking the "create" button). The assemblies in the \bin directory should then resolve correctly.
Hope this helps,

Is your application built with asp.net 2.0 ?

I also got same error in my project. And I am using Asp.net 2.0. Is the asp.net version is going to create any problem?
