The page has a Master property, you can then cast that to the specific class type of your actual master page and call anything you like in it.

OnPreInit() event you can use. Changing master page in page_load won't work

Ok this is fine i can change the Master Page dynamically
but i have one question can i change the Layout of mater page dynamically
Suppose i have one Master Page and In which i am using Layout1.htm but now in some page i need to change the layout can i change that layout1 to another one
hope you are clear 
Note :- I asked this question before some days but i hadn't got proper answer so i added one more Master page only for layout changes

I think I have not understood your problem clearly. Why you want to do this ? For changing the layout, you should create another master page and use it. By the way if you want you can create new master pages on the fly. Do you mean that ?

i am using only 1 master page in my web application that having a layout that is defined in Layout1.html .
But for couple of pages i have some UI Changes this changes so that i have one more layout layout2.html now i want to assing this layout to Master page instead of creating one more master page

I don't find any issue for creating two master pages. And I didn't find any effective method that does what you suggested. Why you are worried on using multiple master pages ? It won't make any performance differences.

I assume for the first you meant greyscale ? My image processing articles have a greyscale filter, and the Fotovision sample from Microsoft has sepia also, I believe.
You realise this will not happen on the client side, you have a website where people upload images to run simple filters on them ? Or are you just in the wrong forum ?

I'm trying to pass data from one page on one server to another page on differnt server.
I get error on the page : "Access Denied"
Firstly can value be passed from a page on one application on on server to another page on another application on a different server?
I think it can be done...but when i try setting value to 1st application frame 1,
parent.document.frames["frame1"].form1.txtValue.value = "1";
i get access denied error...what can be the cause?
Can anyone tell me?

Yes you can pass in query string variables. How you are passing the value now ?

i'm using javascript code to pass object from one appl to another..on same server it works, but if on application is on other server, i get Access Denied error.
parent.document.frames["frame1"].form1.txtValue.value = "1";
This is written in one javascript function in one application page on one server.
parent.document.frames["frame1"] means another applicationpage on different server is given value "1".
Can you tell me how i can achieve this using javascript?

You can't write script that accesses other web pages that are open on your computer, on different servers. Security issues, for a start.

Depends. Are you usng AJAX or are you using the Microsoft ASP.NET AJAX library ? Do you want to write your own AJAX code, or have a control do it all for you ?
Actually, let me take that back. What do you mean by 'another page' ? Another page that is open as a popup window, or just another page in your site ? Nothing can access a page that is not visibly open on the users computer.

but my mean is next page of a grid
assume that i have 100 record that i have to show these 100 records on 10 steps
that the user can select a specific step.for example user want to see th 40th records to 50th.
in addition i use ajax manually,not microsoft ajax...
in the other word its better than to ask my question:"how can i cash my data by ajax?"
