1) using capital letters is considered shouting when online, and hence a pretty rude thing to do - not to mention it is extrenely hard to read.
2) Urgent here and urgent there. No, I do not beleive your questions are urgent - please reserve urgent for - ehh - urgent stuff, like buildings on fire, people dying etc. No one is going to answer you any faster on a forum because you write it is urgent.
Anyway, a ResX file contain resources - which include things like strings used in the GUI and information regarding dialog layouts. Basically anything that needs to change between different languages of your application (languages as in French/English, not as in VB.NET/C#). Notice the strings will not jump into this file by themselves, so you will have to research it a bit if you need to internationalize your application (make it translatable). If you do not need to internationalize it I recommend just ignoring this file for now.
The PDB file contain debug info. With this your exception details contains line numbers - without it you get method names only (this is an example of where it is used, there might be others just can't think of any important right now).
A solution can contain several projects. A solution could for example consist of a web application and a domain model class library.
AssemblyInfo contains attributes for the assembly (the DLL). Things like version number, copyright notice etc available when you see the properties of the file in Windows Explorer. Open it and have a look - it should be pretty obvious what it does.

Good Morning monika_vasvani
First thing First, you must Practise Good manners in Forums so that People might Help you. Dont use Words like "IT'S URGENT.PLS REPLY AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE IF U KNOW", you dont pay us to help, so you must ask kindly or you will be ignord or Deleted out of our Forum.
Secondly Google First before you Ask a quastion in a Forum, this Annoys us a lot, and you will be ignored for that.
lastly let answer Questions.

I WANT TO KNOW THAT WHAT IS THE ACTUAL USE OF RESX FILE
A .resx file contains a standard set of header information, which describes the format of the resource entries and specifies the versioning information for the XML used to parse the data

I WANT TO KNOW THAT WHAT IS THE ACTUAL USE OF PDB FILE
A program database (PDB) file holds debugging and project state information that allows incremental linking of a debug configuration of your program

The Solution object is a collection of all the projects in the current instance of the IDE and all solution-wide properties such as build configurations. The Solution object contains a project element for every project, whether it is a wrapped project, a subproject, or a top-level project.
i think from here you will find your answers. you are lucky i have answered your question with that attitude and i think if you would have Googled this, you would have known the answer to your question in seconds.
Hope it helps

Hello,
You may take a snapshot of Form using PrintToBitmap function of Form.
Following is a code snippet to do so-
bmp = New Bitmap(Me.ClientRectangle.Width, Me.ClientRectangle.Height)
Me.DrawToBitmap(bmp, New Rectangle(Me.ClientRectangle.X, Me.ClientRectangle.Y, Me.ClientRectangle.Width, Me.ClientRectangle.Height))
Me.PictureBox2.Image = bmp
If you want to print this data then you will need to add one PrintDocument object, like this-
Dim WithEvents pdoc As New System.Drawing.Printing.PrintDocument
Add code in PrintPage Event of PrintDocument object something like –
e.Graphics.DrawImage(bmp, Me.ClientRectangle.X, Me.ClientRectangle.Y)
Then you may get it printed by simply using a line of code-
pdoc.Print()
This would print the picture of the form.
I hope this helps .

You can only convert from a string to types that have a natural representation as strings, like a number.
You should really learn how to read the documentation yourself, instead of having to ask others to do it for you. It's all there, and it's much faster than waiting for a reply in a forum.
To create a Font object from the name, use one of the constructors of the Font class. You have to at least supply the font size also.

How do you know this for sure, paste the code that confirm that it has added your record to the dataset.

Lets see the code that you are using to save to the DB not DAtaset. and what DBMS you are using. Access or SQL?

Hi,
thnx for ut reply.I am using Ms-Access 2003.
I am showing u the code,
this is the code i am using to update the data,
Dim res As Integer = executeDML("update schedule set [date]='" & txtdate.Text & "',[vehno]='" & ComboBox1.SelectedValue & "',[from]='" & txtfrom.Text & "',[from_time]='" & txtfromtime.Text & "',[to]='" & txtto.Text & "',[to_time]='" & txttotime.Text & "',[driver]='" & txtdriver.Text & "',[remarks]='" + txtremarks.Text & "' where [id]=" & scheduleid)
If res > 0 Then
MsgBox("Record Updated Successfully!!")
Else
MsgBox("Error while Updating Record!!")
End If
executedml is function defined in module which is,
Public Function executeDML(ByVal command As String) As Integer
Try
com.CommandText = command
com.Connection = con
makeConnection()
rs = com.ExecuteNonQuery()
closeConnection()
Return rs
Catch ex As Exception
If schedulecode = True Then
MsgBox("This vehicle is already at booked at spcified time")
Else
MsgBox(ex.Message)
End If
End Try
End Function
i have degug the code also everything runs properly.
So,wt could be the problem?

The Access database is part of your project. The file is also tagged as Copy Always when you build and execute your project. So, every time you hit F5 in the debugger, it copies the database from your project folder to the Debug folder your .EXE shows up in, overwriting the database your code is actually using.

Here[^] is a useful link.
An interface allows you to define a set of methods that can be implimented by classes even if they have no common root.

Thanks Christian Graus...
I will check the article Link and if i have any doubt when working with Interface i ll post the message.

Basically I want to Authenticate a User name and Password that is saved in a text file. The username and password is saved in a text file from a Persons Form. I want to call each object (username & password) to authenticate itself with a login form.

I am writing some controls, and I would like to have Compound Properties similar to the built in "Font" Property where I can have a single property with several sub Properties.
Say I want a Property BackColors() with sub properties of Normal(), Hover(), Pressed(), Disabled(), and Alpha() inside it, and be able to browse it in the property window with the +/- button rather than opening a collection window.
I hope I am making sense. I woudl put a picture on, but this board doesn't seem to let me, as far as I can see.
I have looked everywhere in my current books, and online for a way to make complex properties like this but I only find basic stuff for single properties.

Hey guys, I was just wondering if it is possible to have a program that searches the screen for a certain color in VB.Net via input of RGB values or the built in color tool. Also if that is possible is it possible for it to click or rick click on the spot where it found the color? Any help is appreciated.
